Local Leadership Information
Steve Fowler, Director:
Born and raised in Mechanicsburg, Steve has grown up playing soccer year-round since he was 5. In 2012, Steve received his B.S. in Sport Management and Business Administration from Grace College, while also playing three years of collegiate soccer. While in college, Steve worked as the youth sports coordinator with a local YMCA, as well as working with the Grace College intramural department. Steve returns to Soccer Shots having worked as a coach and serving as a summer intern. Besides playing soccer, Steve enjoys running and traveling. Steve resides in Mechanicsburg.
Melissa Haldeman, Program Coordinator:
Melissa is originally from the Harrisburg area and grew up playing soccer for local teams, including LDC and Challenge United. After playing high school soccer at Hershey, Melissa went to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, to continue her soccer career. After two years, Melissa came back to Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in recreation, park and tourism management. For the last seven years, she worked in the hospitality industry with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, but soccer never truly left her life. Since college, she has been an instructor for Soccer Shots, as well as the JV coach for the Milton Hershey High School girls' soccer team. Melissa lives in Hershey with her husband Brenton and baby Grace.
Jason Webb, Executive Director & Founder:
A native of Central PA, Jason played soccer collegiately at Messiah College and professionally with the Charlotte Eagles and Harrisburg HEAT. Jason has worked extensively with young soccer players over the past fifteen years and has contributed significantly to the development of the national Soccer Shots curriculum. Jason is an active member of the NSCAA and currently resides in Hummelstown, PA with his wife Mandy and daughters Ella, Clara and Lyla.
Soccer Shots' outstanding crew of instructors consists of local professional soccer players, local college soccer players, and other highly qualified and motivated soccer coaches. Their #1 goal is to ensure your child is having a good and safe time while learning basic soccer skills, teamwork, and fair play.
