Mission Statement: To provide children with creative, simple
play activities which will enable children to "exercise" through the
world's most popular sport-SOCCER! Our Philosophy:
The foundation of our program comes from our own appreciation of the game of soccer
and the positive character traits we've developed through participation in the
game. All Soccer Shots participants are treated with dignity and
respect and are thus expected to treat each other in the same way. Sportsmanship
and fair play take precedence over winning. Teamwork, obedience,
and good attitudes are reinforced during every session. We use soccer as
a tool to accomplish more than soccer: Kids Win! ·Use of imagination ·Creative
play activities Coordination, balance, and agility Word of the day
·Teamwork exercises Character-building lessons Healthy living habits Parents
Win! Your time is important and so is your child. This innovative soccer
education class is brought directly to your child's center. Therefore, it eases
your busy schedule and eliminates transportation and traffic worries. Class
Structure: We provide a half-hour structured class to different child-care
centers and are open to the public at designated locations throughout Knoxville.
Class begins with a warm-up. .After warm-up, our instructors lead the student
in a skill of the week introduction (dribbling, passing, turning). Then, from
there games based on the skill of the week which will be the word of the week.
The class wraps up with a fun team scrimmage and prize time. Clothing: Non-binding
everyday active wear is encouraged; T-shirts, shorts and sweat suits.
