Local Leadership Information
Caly Bruton, Director:
Caly has been involved with the sport of soccer for the past 19 years. She spent many years as a player in VA and was recruited to play Division 1 college soccer for the Big South Conference's Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. After retiring from full-time play, she has been giving back to the sport as a coach. She spent two years as a middle school coach and recently decided to try her hand at the high school level. She currently coaches the Potomac High School girls' soccer team in Prince William County. She has a natural love for children and has been a full-time nanny for the past five years. Caly resides in Woodbridge, VA, with her husband, Daniel, and her daughter, Isabella.

Miko Manglapus, Program Coordinator:
Mikhail Manglapus started playing soccer at age of six in the Philippines. As a young teenager he represented the Philippines playing in the Helsinki Cup in Finland, the Gothia Cup in Sweeden, and the Barcelona Cup in Spain. In high school he was the team captain for Southridge School in the Philippines and lead them to the national finals. In his first year of college in Ateneo de Manila University he started as a center mid and won the rookie of the year award for the university. At the age of 21 he decided to move to Virginia to pursue a degree in communications at Marymount University, and is currently in his senior year. He works as Program Coordinator for Soccer Shots in Northern Virginia, and is an assistant coach for the Reston Rampage in the NCSL. He loves working with young kids and teenagers, teaching them what he knows about the game.

Melanie Cisiewicz, Program Coordinator:
Melanie was born and raised in Northern Virginia where her soccer career started. Growing up, her travel team Springfield United won several Virginia state championships. Melanie was recruited to play Division 1 soccer at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland where she lettered all four years and earned a Business Degree. After college she has continued to play on multiple adult teams in the area and traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Coed National Tournament. Melanie is excited to share her knowledge and love of the game to kids of all ages.

Brianna Hines, Program Coordinator:
Brianna grew up in Woodbridge, VA. She attended Potomac Senior High school where she was a two-sport varsity athlete in track and soccer. While at Potomac she earned multiple accolades including All-Area, honorable mentions for All-Region and All-American. She played club soccer in DV1 WAGS for 6 years where her team won several championships, tournaments, and competed in the state final four. She continued her soccer career at Shepherd University, where she earned WVIAC player of the week multiple times, lead her team in goals and points freshman-junior year, received first-team All-WVIAC honor, All-Atlantic Region Honorable mention, and Female Senior Athlete of the year. After college she played for the Northern Virginia Majestic Semi-Pro team for one season. Outside of Soccer Shots she enjoys being the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Washington Adventist University.
Nick Maclean, Program Coordinator:
Born and raised in Manchester, England, Nick grew up playing soccer every spare minute of the day and went to see Manchester City play every chance he got. As an amateur soccer player, he played in leagues in both Manchester and Shrewsbury, England. He received coaching certification from the Scottish Football Association before moving to the United States where he received his USSF National D license.
Since he moved to Fairfax County, VA in the fall of 2007, Nick has been the Girls' Head JV Coach at The Potomac School, and has coached travel teams for Mclean Youth Soccer since 2009. Nick has a love for children as strong as his love for the game and is dedicated to forwarding the growth of young players of all ages. Nick lives in McLean, VA with his wife Ann, and two sons Benji, 8, and Oliver, 4, who are both soccer lovers.
Camilo Beltran, Executive Director:
Camilo is a former Maryland regional and state champion soccer player from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School. Camilo also grew up playing for the Bethesda Soccer Club where he won multiple championships and accolades. Camilo attended University of Maryland College Park where he majored in finance with a minor in marketing and Spanish business culture. Camilo has been coaching youth soccer in Northern Virginia for more than six years. His positions have included the Potomac School in Mclean, the Great Falls High Performance Academy, and NCSL and WAGS travel teams for the Reston Soccer Association. Camilo holds a USSF D License.
