Brandon
Crane: Brandon played soccer collegiately Virginia Military Institute and
club soccer at University of Kentucky. He is currently a volunteer coach at the
South Tampa YMCA. Brandon currently resides in Tampa, FL with his wife Melissa
and daughter Elle. Melissa Crane: Melissa played soccer in high school
and was a high school all-state athlete in softball, diving, and basketball in
Alabama. She has been involved in the health care industry for the last 10 yrs.
She is very passionate about being a mother and offering fun, educational, and
developmental programs to children
Instructors: Chad
Thomson: I started playing soccer when I was 4 yrs old and played for Blackwatch
soccer club as a youth. I played High school soccer at Plant High and was Captain
of the Varsity team each of my 3 ors there. I was able to receive a soccer scholarship
to Elon University up in North Carolina.
I continued playing soccer when
I moved back to Tampa by playing in the Florida Suncoast Soccer League. My team
has one the Florida State Cup in 2005 and 2009.
I was the assistant men's
Varsity soccer coach at Plant High and coached JV men's soccer at Berkeley Prep
while finishing my Bachelor's degree at University of South Florida. Cassia
Rivera: Cassia grew up playing the sport of soccer in Slidell, LA. Prior
to high school, she represented three state champion teams as a midfielder with
the New Orleans Soccer Association. In addition, she represented the state of
Louisiana on the Olympic Development Team for two years. Her high school career
boasted an undefeated record her sophomore year with a state championship. Her
junior year she led her team to become the runner-up state champions. As captain
of the soccer team her senior year, she was voted Team MVP and District MVP. Her
high school soccer accolades led her to receive a four year soccer scholarship
to the Division I University of South Alabama. Cassia was a four year letter
winner at the University of South Alabama where she broke the record for most
consecutive games played at 81. She led her team to achieve co-conference champions
her sophomore year in the Sunbelt. She was voted one of three team captains to
lead the team her senior year. Cassia majored in Public Relations with a minor
in Sociology. Cassia played one year of semi-professional soccer with the
Orlando Falcons. She posted a game winning goal against the Miami Kicker's FC
and the tying goal against Palm Beach United. As her professional soccer career
turns into playing for fun, she seeks to pass along the invaluable life lessons
of the sport of soccer to future generations. With her husband, she now resides
in the Tampa, FL area as a Professional Make-Up Artist and Author. Ron
Gonzalez: Born and raised in Tampa, FL. Starting playing soccer at the
age of 6 and continue to play today. Played soccer throughout my life in club
leagues: Town n Country league, Blackwatch League, Skyway League, Northdale League
and competitive traveling teams. Played with clubs overseas. Have coached HCUnited
girls teams, as well as, middle school age teams. Extensive experience playing
the sport and coaching soccer.
