In response to the social distancing measures being taken across North America, we are making adjustments to the way we deliver the Soccer Shots experience. As the safety and well-being of our families is always our highest consideration, we want to ensure that your children (and you!) are still able to keep some sense of normalcy throughout these uncertain times. As of March 16, we have suspended all in-person Soccer Shots sessions until further notice. We are working on a solution for you and your child that we will share via email in the within the next week. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through this situation as a strong, unified community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can my child participate in Soccer Shots?

Soccer Shots Annapolis is held at childcare centers, preschools and schools, as well as public locations. Our public programs are open to the general public while our childcare center and school programs are only open to those enrolled at the location.

What type of equipment will my child need to participate?

Soccer Shots provides all of the equipment needed at each of our sessions. Your child should wear activity-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. Cleats and shin guards are NOT necessary.

How do I know the locations of the public programs?

To find public programs in your area, select View Locations at the top of this page.

Can I have Soccer Shots start a public program near me?

Yes! We are always willing to start a public program near you. The easiest way for this to happen is for you to form a group of eight children willing to take part in a Soccer Shots season. These could be children from your neighborhood, friends from church or synagogue, or your parent groups. We’re happy to help talk through ideas on how to make this happen. Please contact your local director for more information.

What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

Our weekly 30-40 minute sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.

What happens if a session is cancelled due to inclement weather?

Specific to Public Programs: Soccer Shots plays in the rain when temperatures are above 55 degrees. Soccer Shots will attempt to determine the status of a session at least 2 hours before the start of the session. If we do cancel a session, we will notify you via email, text and post all weather updates on our Facebook page @soccershotshaf. There will be a maximum of one make-up session due to inclement weather. Unless otherwise noted, all rained out sessions will be automatically added onto the end of the season on your usual day and time.

Specific to Schools: Whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, Soccer Shots will work with the school to determine the status of the session. If we do cancel a session, we will notify you via email. Unless otherwise noted, all rained out sessions will be automatically added onto the end of the season on your usual day and time.

What to do if my child has not received his/her Soccer Shots jersey?

For all jersey inquiries and exchanges, you may contact [email protected]. Soccer Shots jerseys are included upon payment of the annual enrollment fee. The annual enrollment fee is required once per school year and covers the following four seasons: fall, winter, spring, summer. Annual enrollment fees are applied at the start of the new school year (fall season) and required for new participants.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a refund for the cost of the season will be processed. If you paid the enrollment fee this season, the jersey you received must be returned with the tags still attached to receive an enrollment fee refund. If you are requesting a refund due to withdrawing a participant from the season, requests prior to week 3 of the season will be given a refund for the remaining sessions only. Requests after week 3 of the season will not receive a refund. All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative. Notification must be received 24 hours PRIOR to the session.

What if my child is unable to attend a scheduled session?

If your child is unable to attend a scheduled session or make-up session, refunds will not be issued and a make-up session will not be provided. This is to ensure our coaches stay within ratio throughout the session.
