Adam spent almost 10 years playing the great sport of soccer. Before hanging up his soccer cleats due to an injury, Adam played mostly center-back. Along with playing pick up games, Coach Adam now enjoys basketball and racquetball. Coach Adam grew up in Albuquerque, NM but loves life here in Austin. As a student at Southwestern University, Adam loves the music scene. His favorite part about coaching his soccer friends is the unpredictability and the excitement!
Fun Fact: When he’s not coaching, Coach Adam is pursuing his childhood dream of becoming a Pokemon Master.
As a true Austinite, Coach Adriana loves all of the great people and the great food that Austin has to offer. She has been nannying and helping children to thrive for nearly 5 years. Adriana also used to coach gymnastics. Whether she’s coaching gymnastics or soccer, Adriana loves to see children light up when they master a new skill for the first time! Coach Adriana began playing indoor soccer over 5 years ago and loves to play defense. When she’s not out there defending her goal, she is practicing her American Sign Language mastery skills.
Fun Fact: Coach Adriana ate jellyfish when living in Malaysia!
Originally from Las Vegas, Coach Alyson has been playing soccer since she was just 5 years old! She enjoyed playing full back (a defensive position) because she liked preventing the other team from scoring more than she enjoyed scoring herself. She continues to play soccer recreationally for fitness, and also enjoys hiking, running, swimming, and playing tennis! Coach Alyson has many years working with children, both as a nanny and as a montessori preschool teacher. she especially enjoys seeing how innately energetic and curious they can be while learning!
Fun Fact: Coach Alyson used to work at a museum and once accidentally got locked in a cage with a bunch of dinosaur bones!
Coach Alyssa started playing soccer at the age of 3 in an area slightly cooler than Austin…Wisconsin. She played soccer throughout her childhood and once in college co-founded and co-captained the club team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She continues to play soccer in Austin on indoor and outdoor leagues. Coach Alyssa has coached JV high school soccer for multiple years and also coaches youth futsal classes. She shares that she loves watching how much each child improves their skills throughout the season. When she is not playing or coaching, you can find Alyssa running, hiking, walking her two dogs, learning how to speak Russian or just enjoying a sweet treat at Sweet Caroline’s.
Fun Facts: Coach Alyssa’s hometown, (Monroe, WI) is the only place in the US that makes the stinkiest cheese around – Limburger. She shares that it smells like dirty socks but tastes delicious. Yum?
Coach Amanda, born and raised in Austin, started playing soccer at the age of 3 and continues to play on a variety of clubs, indoor leagues and any pick up game she can join. She also plays Ultimate, basketball and loves exploring Austin’s creeks, caves and river. Coach Amanda is an environmental educator for the City of Austin, teaching youth education and adult programs. She also taught swim sessions for multiple years and shares that she loves seeing children develop their confidence and comfort being around water.
Fun Facts: Coach Amanda loves Tex-Mex! Chips & homemade salsa are her favorite snack!
Coach Amber started playing soccer at age 5 and from her first practice, she was hooked. “It was the first thing I was as good at as my big brother!” she says. Coach Amber played club soccer at Texas Tech and in several women’s leagues here in Austin after college. Nowadays, you can often catch her at the lake. (She’s the one with the big black pit-bull in a stroller). She has recently developed a love for trampolining, so keep an eye out for her at one of the local trampoline parks!
Favorite Soccer Position: Any position that she can score a goal!
Fun Fact: Coach Amber is terrified of snakes, sharks and the dark but is otherwise fearless!
Coach Andrew started playing soccer in kindergarten and continued throughout high school which includes playing 3 years with the Texas Football Club. A native Texan (DFW area) Coach Andrew’s favorite part about coaching soccer is making a positive impact on each kid’s day and helping create a long-term positive impression that soccer is fun. Coach Andrew loves to stay active and when possible loves to escape to cooler regions to go snowboarding.
Fun Fact: Coach Andrew is a singer and a songwriter!
Coach Angel, a Sugarland, TX native, brings 13+ years of goalkeeping/soccer playing experience to our team. He is fluent in Spanish and holds a Level F US Soccer Coaching license. Coach Angel loves to help young children develop their skills and a love for playing the “beautiful game” of soccer.
Coach Angel is working on earning a Masters in History at Texas State University.

Coach Arianne has been playing soccer for over 17 years! Hailing from the DFW area, she started playing for FC Dallas Youth, then intramural in college, and in France when she studied abroad. Her favorite position is forward because she loves the challenge of scoring GOALS! In addition to soccer, Arianne loves tennis, paddle boarding, and volunteering! She has lots of experience with children, having worked as a camp counselor, childcare supervisor, and AmeriCorps literacy tutor for AISD. Her favorite part about working with kids is their unfailing ability to find fun and joy in anything!
Fun Fact: Coach Arianne checked off an item on her bucket list in 2015 by attending a European soccer match between PSG and Caen. So intense!!
Coach Arpan grew up playing soccer in Washington, DC and continues to play whenever he can find a pick up game. Coach Arpan enjoys staying active – hiking, basketball, tennis, golf – anything outside in Austin is fun. He shares that one of his favorite things about coaching is the energy that kids bring to the field. His other favorite thing? The fun!
Fun Facts: Coach Arpan flew jets for the US Air Force and says that he is currently on a mission to visit all the tall buildings in the world. He’s already been to Dubai, Paris, London, New York, Chicago and a few more!
Coach Ashley grew up in Colorado and shares that she has hiked to the top of CO’s tallest three mountains. In addition to hiking to high peaks, Coach Ashley has played soccer for multiple years on her club and high school teams. She shares that she loves teaching and working with kids – it’s a special moment when they learn something new!
Fun Facts: Coach Ashley is raising two future soccer stars of her own! I expect she will having them dribbling the ball as they hike up Mt. Bonnell?
Program Specialist, Elite Coach
A Texas native, Coach Benjamin started playing soccer at age 8 and continued to play through high school and college at Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas. He started refereeing at age 13 and still continues at the collegiate level today. He used to help out with a children’s ministry program for almost a decade and still enjoys being around children because of how silly and cheerful they can be!
Fun Fact: Coach Benjamin’s favorite animal is a bear!
Coach Camilo was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to Houston (The Woodlands area) at the wee age of one month! At the age of 3, he started playing soccer, later playing competitively on his club, high school and intramural teams. He continues to play soccer today, in between running and lifting weights. Coach Camilo is fluent in Spanish and shares that one of his favorite things about coaching is seeing children get excited when they score a goal. He says it’s also pretty great to watch the excitement on the parent’s face too!
Fun Facts: Coach Camilo doesn’t play video games. He does admit that he falls asleep most evenings watching Friends or The Office.
Originally from San Antonio, Coach Christina has been playing soccer since she was in elementary school. She has been captain of both her club and high school teams, and played Division II soccer at St. Edwards University here in Austin. Coach Christina loves to spend time outside and make attempts at gardening.
Fun Fact: Coach Christina has three young kids to wrangle when she isn’t wrangling Soccer Shots players!
Coach Conner grew up in Sugarland, TX and loves living in Austin. His favorite part about Austin is that not only is there always something to do, it usually involves music! Conner began playing soccer as a young kid and enjoyed the sport alongside his younger sister. When he isn’t thinking about soccer, Conner likes to play golf, ultimate frisbee and do yoga. Conner has been working with children for many years at his church childcare center. Coach Conner has a passion for the rewarding nature that is coaching young kiddos. His goal is always to make his soccer friends are having as much fun as possible out on Soccer Island.
Fact Fact: Coach Conner is proficient in American Sign Language
An Austin native, Coach Edgar began playing soccer while in middle school. He played competitively throughout high school, and continues to play defense for a variety of recreational leagues here in Austin. When not playing soccer, Coach Edgar likes to spend time in nature whether traveling, hiking or camping! He has several years of experience coaching youth soccer, and loves watching children grow as they learn a new sport.
Fun Fact: Coach Edgar loves to travel around the country watching sporting events, and once met Landon Donovan, Brian Ching and Stuart Holden at a panel where they gave him coaching advice!
Coach Fate, originally from Manchester, England, started playing soccer when he was 7 years old. He club soccer for over 5 years and all 4 years of high school. He now plays soccer recreationally, along with weight-lifting, kayaking and running! Coach Fate started working with children when he was 12, where he started teaching younger children in his neighborhood all about soccer. His favorite part about working with children is how quickly they learn and how much they love the game!

From Puerto Rico, Coach Felipe started playing pick-up games as a tiny toddler and continued on to play intramural soccer in college. His favorite position is midfield because of his incredible speed! Coach Felipe has been teaching kids for about a decade, and they never cease to amaze him. “Besides being surrounded by hilariousness, I’d say that it’s their silliness, infinite curiosity and then genuine spirit that take precedent,” he says. As well as coaching kids soccer, Coach Felipe is also a Capoeira instructor in Brazilian Martial Arts. He enjoys sprinting, swimming and biking.
Fun Fact: Coach Felipe can walk on his hands for a very long time while singing in different languages!
Director of Coaching
Greg has played soccer his whole life. He started playing Club soccer in South Africa for Moroka Swallows, he then moved to the US where he played college soccer at Texas a&m Int, he continued on to play pro at Laredo Heat SC, Austin Aztex and Oklahoma City Energy FC. His favorite part about soccer is the teamwork. Greg has coached kids at schools and camps since college. He loves watching a kid grow in confidence and learn about teamwork while they enjoy playing the game.
Fun Fact: Coach Greg speaks French!
Coach Henry has been playing soccer since he was only 5 years old. Preferably on defense, Henry played varsity soccer in high school and for Minnesota Thunder Academy. When Henry wasn’t playing soccer, Henry was working towards his personal trainer certification. Needless to say, Coach Henry enjoys being active. Having coached a U11 girls soccer team in the past, Coach Henry loves to be out on the soccer field with kids and their great energy.
Fun Fact: Coach Henry went skydiving in San Diego this summer!
Coach Ixchel was born and raised in Houston. She currently attends UT where in addition to earning a BS in Applied Learning and Development she is working towards a Professional Concentration in Coaching. In addition to a love for soccer Coach Ixchel enjoys swimming and weightlifting. She shares that she loves bringing positive energy and enthusiasm to each of her teaching and coaching sessions.
Fun Facts: Coach Ixchel’s name is Mayan and means “rainbow”. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Coach Jacob grew up playing soccer in his hometown of Amarillo, Texas. He loved to play any position where he could score a goal! When he is not coaching, he really enjoys staying active by playing football, racquetball and basketball. Coach Jacob has several years of experience both coaching and officiating youth soccer!
Fun Fact: Coach Jacob is a pre-med Biochemistry major at The University of Texas at Austin!
Coach Jade spent her early childhood growing up in the sunny state of Florida and later moved to a similar climate – Austin, TX. She played soccer through high school and continues to remain active – running and rock climbing are a few of her favorite hobbies. Coach Jade says that her favorite part about teaching and working with kids is having the ability to positively impact their lives.
Fun Facts: Coach Jade has ridden the tallest zip line in the world (we need to find out where that is located). In addition to teaching soccer, Coach Jade also teaches kids how to fly drones.
Coach Janet joins the Soccer Shots team with countless years of early childhood service. Janet coached her sons team for 2 years and loves children’s ability to have fun and laugh. A child’s uncontrollable laughter is music to Janet’s ears. Growing up in Austin, Janet loves anything and everything associated with the outdoors; camping, biking, scuba and so much more. When Coach Janet isn’t in the kitchen trying new recipes, she is out front playing soccer with her son on their turf front lawn!
Fun Fact: Coach Janet loves all animals and volunteers at Austin Pets Alive every week!
Coach Jaxon grew up in The Woodlands, TX playing club soccer with Texas Rush and his high school team. He moved to the Austin area for college and says that Austin provides the perfect mix between the city and outdoors. Coach Jaxon loves coaching and seeing the excitement in each child’s face when the score a goal. Gooooooal!!!!
Fun Facts: Coach Jaxon saw Clint Dempsey score his last U.S. Soccer goal. He’s also into film and photography. I hope Coach Jaxon captured that last goal on film!
Coach Jessi grew up playing soccer in Frisco, TX. She played for the Mutiny FC in high school and also played all four years on her high school’s varsity team. Coach Jessi enjoys staying active, working out and playing pick up soccer games. She shares that some of her favorite things about coaching kids are their enthusiasm and ability to always have fun.
Fun Facts: Coach Jessi has named all of her pets after soccer players (Mia, Donovan, Holden) are just a few. She also recently completed certifications in Animal Assisted Therapy and Canine Behavior Training.
Coach Joaquin has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old! Growing up in Alice, Texas he played on various teams learning skills to be an amazing goal keeper. He played on his high school team as the goalie, and now is the goal keeper for his intramural team as well. When he is not playing soccer competitively or recreationally, he likes to play basketball and flag-football. As the oldest of 7, Coach Joaquin has a lot of experience working with children, and enjoys watching the excitement of a child when they master a new skill.
Fun Fact: Coach Joaquin can ride a unicycle!
Coach Julia grew up playing soccer in Albuquerque, NM. Playing goalie, she and her teammates won multiple state championships. She brings experience coaching club teams and coaching at summer camps. Coach Julia shares that she loves to see how excited kids get celebrating accomplishments – these are such important moments and she loves to help celebrate.
Fun Facts: Coach Julia had 5 wisdom teeth – a bonus one on the top row. She also seems to have a recurring issue with one of her pinky toes – stating that she dislocates one ~ every 6 months.
An ACE Certified Health Coach and Certified Youth Fitness Specialist, Coach Kaci has played a variety of sports since she was 4 years old including volleyball, softball, basketball, and soccer. In college she played outside-mid on her women’s intramural team and loved being a part of such a competitive yet friendly experience. Her favorite part of playing soccer is being able to work as part of a team. Kaci has been teaching children ages 2 – 16 in various sports for over 6 years! She has coached a high-energy, fun, all-sports class for kids ages 3 – 8, swim lessons for toddlers, and also competitive volleyball for girls in 5th-10th grades. She loves being able to work with a group of kids for an extended period of time and watch them grow both as people and athletes.

Kait brings to our team years of childcare experience, humor, and enthusiasm! She grew up playing a variety of sports including soccer, softball, and running track. Originally from Abilene, TX, Kait has nannied for several families, coached little kiddos, and enjoys positively impacting everyone around her! In addition to her passion for teaching children, she also loves music, film, and food!

Coach Kathy N.
Coach Kathy, a native Texan, grew up in McKinney Falls. Coming to Austin for school at UT, Kathy has fallen in love with Austin’s delicious food and great live music scene. Growing up playing soccer, Kathy has been playing since the 3rd grade. When she’s not on the field playing center defender or center mid, Kathy enjoys utilizing her Spanish skills. As if Coach Kathy isn’t busy enough, she is also training for a 1/2 marathon! Good luck Coach!

Coach Kelly has been an athlete her whole life, and was introduced to soccer when she was in high school. Her freshman year she played stopper, sweeper and goalie and was named the “MIP” during her first season! Later on in high school she was named the “MVP” and has continued playing soccer in various recreational leagues across Austin. Coach Kelly has been a part of education and early education for many years, and one of her favorite parts is the joy of movement and motor development. She has coached her own sons soccer team for many years, and enjoys seeing the growth and sense of teamwork in youth sports.
Fun Fact: Coach Kelly has spent 12 summers in Kodiak, AK as part of a family commercial fishing business!
Coach Kip, a native Texan, grew up playing soccer and currently plays forward/right mid on Southwestern University’s men’s soccer team. In addition to soccer, he is an active basketball player and is hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon once he completes college. Coach Kip shares that he loves watching the little ones smile when they score a goal in soccer or make a shot in basketball (yes, Coach Kip loves to coach basketball too).
Fun Facts: Coach Kip is a roller coaster “junkie.” Seek him out if you need to know any roller coaster related facts i.e., highest, fastest ride. Coach Kip also shares that when he was 13 he won an air hockey tournament and received free pizza and free air hockey play time for a week.
Coach Lainie was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She studied social work and ballroom dance at the University of Texas. Her experience with children comes from being a pre-kindergarten teacher, camp counselor, orphanage volunteer, and nannying.
Coach Lainie always dreamed of coaching soccer. She started playing at the age of 6, then played for a Division 1 select team as a sweeper and forward. She was named MVP and captain for three years and led her team to the state championships many times. Unfortunately, a debilitating back injury forced her out of soccer for two years. Although she never regained her full strength, this did not stop her from returning to the field. She created her own intramural team at UT and is thrilled to be coaching the newest generation of young soccer players!
Fun Fact: Coach Lainie is an accomplished ballroom dancer and was a Teacher Assistant to the Professor of Social Dance at UT for many years. Her favorite dances are cross-step waltz, two-step, foxtrot and Argentine tango.
Having grown up in Ecuador, Uruguay and Peru, Coach Maia has lived in some amazing places! During her travels throughout South America, Maia began her coaching career with a varsity girls soccer team at a private school in Indonesia. Now with 2 years of coaching and 10 years of childhood experience under her belt, Coach Maia is psyched to be out on Soccer Island with her soccer friends. Maia loves the contagious enthusiasm children bring to each and every session. Having recently moved to Austin, Coach Maia loves the diversity and of course the yummy food!
Fun Fact: Coach Maia once found herself face to face with a spider that was the same size as her face! Yikes!
Coach Margie has been living in Austin since 2004 and loves to tear up the soccer field! When she isn’t spending time with her 12 year old son and her husband, she is outdoors enjoying Austin’s greenbelt. Beginning her soccer career at age 6, Margie has played high school, club, indoor and league soccer. Her defensive skills are as asset to any team she joins! As she a coach, she has helped kids of all ages to better their soccer skills. Her favorite thing is to see her players succeed with big smiles on their faces.
Fun Fact: Her mother’s day tradition is tubing down the Comal River in New Braunfels!
Coach Meghan is a native Austinite! Born and raised in this great city, Coach Meghan started playing soccer at the age of 3, continued through her freshman year of college and is now playing on a co-ed league in Austin. Coach Meghan takes every opportunity to get outside and be active – hiking, running, cycling, soccer and of course enjoying time out on Town Lake (she can call it that as she is a native Austinite). She shares that her favorite part of coaching is when each child has their “ah ha” moment as they learn something new – seeing their faces and how proud they are of themselves is incredible!
Fun Facts: Coach Meghan shares that she can make her voice go very, very deep which tends to greatly surprise her friends and colleagues. She also has a favorite “go to” dance move…the worm!
Program Specialist, Elite Coach
From Dallas, Texas, Coach Michel has been playing soccer the majority of her life with over 20 years of experience! She started playing club soccer at age 10, and her favorite position is forward. Coach Michel loves little kids and is excited to not only teach children the greatest game in the world, but also to learn from them as well!
Fun Fact: Coach Michel LOVES watching cartoons, specifically Arthur being her favorite.
Coach Mitz is a native “Austinite.” He grew up enjoying Austin’s great music, culture, and of course playing soccer. He started a paintball league when he was in high school and later helped coach the team. Coach Mitz shares that one of his favorite things about coaching is bringing smiles to children’s faces.
Fun Facts: Coach Mitz enjoys bouldering and sailing. He also is an avid concert goer – trying to attend at least one a month (mainly Indie or Latino).
Coach Nicole grew up refereeing and playing soccer in Southern Louisiana. She continues to stay active training for half marathons and serving as a coach for the “Girls on the Run” program. Coach Nicole shares that she enjoys helping kids have fun and stay active.
Coach Nicole travelled to Cannes, France to cook at the Film Festival. She was also on Andrew Zimmern’s T Show, “The Zimmern List- Austin.”
Coach Pamela grew up playing soccer in Lebanon. She carried this love of soccer with her to Austin, TX and still enjoys playing pick up games with her friends. Coach Pamela has volunteered as a Sunday School pre-school teacher for multiple years and loves to help little ones develop a life-long love for soccer. She recently took up the sport of tennis and when she is not out on the court or helping kids learn to play soccer you can find her exploring Austin and meeting new people.
Fun Facts: Coach Pamela loves to draw. She is also fluent in Arabic and French.
As an aspiring elementary school teacher, Coach Peyton LOVES hanging out with her Soccer Shots players. Peyton has coached swim lessons for many years and enjoys the fact that kiddos always keep her on her toes. Growing up in Houston was fun, but Coach Peyton loves that Austin always has something fun to do. Hanging up her soccer clients after 9 years, Coach Peyton still enjoys pick up games from time to time. When she’s not racing around the intramural soccer fields, Peyton is working on finishing her sophomore at UT, studying Human Development and Family Sciences.
Fun Fact: Coach Peyton is planning on showing her skills as an Amazing Race contestant one day! Go luck Peyton!
Born in New Jersey and raised in Chapel Hill, Coach Rachel started playing soccer when she was 10 years old. She has been playing soccer for fifteen years, coaching for six years and refereeing for youth and adult soccer for seven years.
Fun Fact: Coach Rachel also plays on the all women’s traveling ultimate frisbee team, Reverb.
Coach Ryan grew up in Indiana and admits he is happily enjoying Austin’s much milder winters! He played soccer in multiple leagues (including playing for his high school) as a midfielder and goalkeeper. He continues to stay active, playing sports with his 4 yr old and 8 yr old – swimming, football and they are also doing their part to be the next family of ninja warriors. His coaching experience includes baseball and t-ball and he loves seeing the confidence in kids grow as they learn new skills.
Fun Facts: Coach Ryan is writing his first fiction novel – he hopes it will be published soon.
Coach Sabur aka “Coach Big Beard” recently moved to Austin from the NY area. He is loving the warm weather and the friendly people and is prepared for the summer heat (as much as one can prepare). Coach Big Beard has extensive coaching experience including soccer, wrestling and teaching martial arts. He earned his first black belt at age 13 and continues to study martial arts.
Fun Fact: Coach Sabur is a two-time high school wrestling champion!
Coach Serafina grew up playing soccer in Dallas, TX. She played left wing throughout high school and while on the club team at Texas State. She says that she loved playing on the wing because it gave her “full field involvement.” Coach Serafina is an active runner and plays pick up soccer games when possible. Her coaching experience includes working with middle school athletics. She shares that her favorite parts about coaching are providing a fun learning atmosphere and being a positive influence.
Fun Facts: Coach Serafina’s favorite team is FC Dallas! She also loves Adidas – the cleat and gear of choice for her – she is committed to the “three stripes” brand.
Coach Sergio was born in Oceanside, CA and later moved to Round Rock, TX where he played soccer for his club and high school teams (Go Dragons!). In addition to continuing to play soccer, Coach Sergio enjoys running and playing basketball. Coach Sergio shares that he is inspired by each child’s energy and does his best to be even more energetic and fun to keep the excitement and energy levels high.
An Austin native, Coach Shayne has been playing a variety of sports throughout her entire life. In particular, she has participated in track and field events and on a variety of recreational soccer teams. She loves the intensity of friendly competition! When she is not playing soccer, Shayne also loves to participate in local 5Ks around town. Although she is newer to coaching, Coach Shayne has a great background teaching pre-school aged children, and especially loves their ability to dream without limits.
Fun Fact: Coach Shayne backpacked through Europe for 4 months, visiting a total of 11 different countries!
A Texas native, Coach Skylar started playing soccer when she was just 4 years old! Growing up she played competitive soccer for a variety of clubs, and continues to play today at Concordia University. In addition to playing soccer, Coach Skylar also likes to stay active by playing other sports like basketball and volleyball. She has many years of experience both with child care and youth coaching, and loves to see the way children progress while learning a new sport!
Fun Fact: Coach Skylar has lived in 4 other states!
Coach Stephanie started playing soccer in 4th grade and continued playing competitively throughout high school, playing forward and later defense. She is a native Texan and spent the majority of her youth in the Corpus Christi area. She has extensive experience teaching music lessons to children including the oboe! Coach Stephanie also has a certification to teach “Insanity Live Group” or HIIT Training and is currently working on earning her personal training certification. When she’s not teaching, coaching or working out you can find her testing her culinary skills.
Fun Fact: Coach Stephanie loves to read books. She loves to “escape” into another world and improve her imagination skills.
Coach Steve grew up in Cameroon, Africa and started playing soccer at the age of 4. He played soccer for multiple club teams, the Anderson High School Soccer team and at St. Edward’s University. Coach Steve continues to play soccer (left wing is his favorite spot), mixes in some weight training and is finishing up a CPA internship. Coach Steve’s coaching experience includes coaching soccer camps at St. Edwards and shares that he loves seeing the kids so “into the session” learning but still having fun.
Fun Facts: Coach Steve is fluent in French, is a certified nursing assistant and once scored a goal from half field!
Coach Tatiana has been playing soccer for over 17 years! Her soccer resume includes playing time with the elite Big North division in Michigan. Makes perfect sense that Coach T’s motto is “eat, breathe, sleep, soccer!” When she wasn’t out there tearing up the soccer field, Tatiana spent 6 years learning Spanish. Her favorite thing about coaching her soccer friends is the constant energy they bring. Coach Tatiana is childcare certified and is working on completing her teaching certification.
Fun Fact: Tatiana has been singing and playing the guitar since she was 6! Coach T does it all!
Coach Tim started playing soccer at the age of 3 in Westfield, Indiana and at the age of 10 moved to Dallas, TX where he played for his school and multiple club teams. Coach Tim then headed to San Marcos to play for Texas State University’s soccer team. Now in Austin, Coach Tim continues to play in multiple leagues and is busy teaching his 3 yr old daughter the joys of soccer.
Fun Facts: Coach Tim once ate 13 chili hot dogs in an hour. Ouch! He was also the lead singer for a band in high school.
Coach Tracy grew up in Pennsylvania and is currently in Austin to pursuing her Speech-Language Pathology degree. A lifelong soccer player, Tracy is excited to be in a climate where she will not have to wear multiple layers while playing soccer. She shares that she is really looking forward to not shoveling a driveway full of snow this winter. Coach Tracy’s favorite part of coaching is seeing each child’s confidence grow throughout the season.
Fun Facts: Coach Tracy has two Soccer Shots-loving/playing nephews. She also had the opportunity to cuddle a Koala in Australia. Pictures please!
Coach Wesley grew up in Southern Alabama and has been playing soccer since he was five years old. He has played club, high school and recreational soccer for twenty years now! He loves working with kids and loves being able to help build a child’s confidence when they learn a new skill. His favorite position is mid-field and has worked as a referee for several years. If he isn’t outdoors running or hiking, you can catch him playing in pickup games all around Austin.
Coach Wesley LOVES to travel and has been to more than ten countries. Most recently, he has been to Italy and Mexico.
