Coach Luke was born in England and moved to America with my parents when he was two years old. He has grown up in America locally around the Downingtown/Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. He attended Shamona Creek Elementary school, Downingtown East Middle School and High School. Luke received a BA in History at Temple University. He has been playing soccer since he was four years old. Luke began with a recreational league and continued to club and then eventually played on the Reading Rage.

I have been with soccer shots for a total of 7.5 years. I previously worked at a Director for the Va Beach/Hampton roads soccer shot. I have had the honor of working for chester county soccer shots for several seasons. I have had a passion for soccer since a young child. I have played from 5yrs- college. I am married to my best friend with two wonderful kids. Being a coach brings so much joy to my life and I look forward to every session I coach.

Fun Fact:

When I was a senior is college, my soccer team went to the NCAA in Walt Disney World. We played in the Disney Sports complex. We were recently inducted into our schools hall of fame.

My name is Coach Harmony and I love working with kids. I have two kids and they are both 9 years old (twins). I love animals and have lots of pets. I also work at an elementary school part time, and I also help teach painting classes. My family loves soccer, both my husband and my son play in local leagues. My husband and I went to the World Cup in South Africa before the kids were born.

I can type and knit with my eyes closed

I started playing soccer as soon as I could walk growing up in England.  I played for my High School team on the wing and then at Club level into my early thirties.  When we immigrated to the USA, my kids where 5 & 3, they started playing for West Chester United and somehow I slipped into Coaching, which i still love.  My Kids Preschool had Soccer Shots, which they loved and at a back to school night, I started talking to Doug Schneider and he invited me to assist him Coaching, way back in 2004. I fell in love with the program and Doug’s upbeat way of Coaching and have not looked back since.

I don’t speak Americanish.

I grew up in Lancaster County. I played soccer in high school and field hockey in college. I taught 2nd grade and led many community projects in the city of Chester while living there for 14 years. After getting married, I moved to Chester County and am now currently teaching preschool in Wayne, PA. I have 2 boys both in the Great Valley School district.

I completed a marathon and triathlon

Coach Alex grew up in Middletown, New York with his twin brother and a younger sister. In his free time, Alex enjoys going hiking, sports, and videogames. Alex is currently studying Psychology at West Chester University. He chose to go into youth soccer coaching because he wants to spread the joy he got from playing this beautiful game when he was younger.

I won Middletown’s potato sack race in 2006

Hello, my name is coach Kassie! I have always had a love for the game of soccer. I started playing soccer when I was 13 and assistant coaching soccer at about 16. This season will be my second season getting to coach for soccer shots and I am excited to see some new and familiar faces! One of my favorite positions to play in soccer is the goalie. I will never forget my best save when my team was tied against another and my save won us the tournament. Soccer is all about taking shots, and you can’t score if you don’t try.

Fun Fact:

I have a goal of doing one thing adventures or out of my comfort zone activity each year.

I grew up loving to play soccer and continued to play competitively on school and travel teams through high school. Soccer taught me determination and developed my confidence. I love coaching because I enjoy teaching and sharing my enthusiasm with others. I believe that every young soccer player should have a positive and fun environment to learn and grow.

One of my favorite shows at Walt Disney World is Finding Nemo The Musical.

I grew up playing soccer as a kid and played for about 12 years. I also love watching the World Cup with my nephews. I am working towards my bachelors in Geo-science and I teach yoga once a week.

Hey! I’m Coach Alexandra, or shorten to Alexxa! I’m currently 20 years old and a sophomore in college! I’m studying English and not sure exactly what I want to do yet! I went to Unionville High school and was the class of 2018! And was a star soccer player and teachers pet so everyone knows me!! I have played soccer all my life and even played a year in college!! So coaching let’s me stay connected to the sport even when I’m not playing!

My name is Carrie and I recently graduated from Immaculata University. I love working with children in different learning environments. From the classroom to summer camp to Soccer Shots, there is so much I have learned from the children as well as the teachers and coaches. I have worked for Soccer Shots since January of 2019 and I’m excited for a new season!

Last summer, I traveled to Peru for a service trip with my school.

I come from a big family where I grew up playing soccer in my backyard with all of my siblings and neighbors. As both a teacher and a coach, I love to work with children of all ages and hope to make a difference in their lives. I love coaching for Soccer Shots because it allows me to have fun and learn from all of the amazing soccer players that I coach!

I am graduating from college in May.

I am a lover of many different sports. Football and Basketball are my favorites to watch but I enjoy playing soccer and have enjoyed watching my brothers and cousins play for the past few years. I love to be outdoors and being active. I also love watching children succeed and enjoy pushing them towards a goal while going alongside them and guiding them in how to get to their goal.

Hi Soccer Shot’s families! I have played soccer for 12 years: I played travel for 8 years, recreational for WCUSC for 3 years, and currently play intramural soccer at WCU. My favorite position to play is outside midfield. I wish I could play more soccer, but I am a student at West Chester University, class of 2021, and am majoring in Elementary Education. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher, include ASL in my classroom, and continue coaching soccer. I love working with children, being silly, and having fun! I can’t wait to meet you all!

I have been playing soccer for about 15 years. I also played softball and basketball growing up. I am an education major, and have been working with kids for about 3 years. It is my passion, and I love doing it every day. I am so excited to be a coach and spread my love and knowledge of soccer!

I had my name legally changed after a month because the nurse put the wrong name on my birth certificate.

Hi, I’m Coach Sam! I love Jesus, chocolate cookie dough ice-cream, and soccer! I’m graduating from the University of Valley Forge this May, and when I’m not in school or on soccer island I volunteer with my church’s middle school ministry!

My name is Maitiya Meadows and I am new to coaching soccer with Soccer Shots. I am 19 years old and I currently attend West Chester University studying Public Health with a minor in Psychology. I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old and since then the skill has stuck with me. I continued playing in high school playing defender and mid field positions. I am looking forward to meeting new players and teaching them skills to help them become better soccer players and better people in the world. I can’t wait to meet you guys!

Hi! My name is Megan Randall and I am 20 years old. I’m currently attending West Chester University majoring in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I’ve played soccer since I was 6 years old, and still play for a women’s team at home! My hometown is Harleysville, PA. I’m looking forward to coaching and getting on the field with SoccerShots!

Coach Reon grew up in Pottstown, PA and is currently a student at Temple University majoring in Film & Media Arts. He grew up with a love for sports and played basketball, football and soccer. While on the soccer field, Coach Reon often played goalie and sometimes even mid-field! In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing FIFA, watching sports and collecting sneakers! Coach Reon has one older brother, one younger sister and a French bulldog named Stella!

Coach Reon’s favorite soccer team is the German National team!

I’m a junior (Class of 2021) at the Tatnall School in Wilmington where I play baseball and basketball. Although soccer isn’t my primary sport, I enjoy playing it recreationally. I’m beginning my college search–majoring in a science or education–so any recommendations would be helpful. I play Minecraft, Rocket League, and NBA2K.

Hi, I am Coach Sue! I played soccer when I was younger. Now I coach Soccer Shots at St. Agnes, where I used to be a fifth-grade teacher! I also walk dogs and tutor students. I love playing with my two sons and pug!

I’m a current junior at Eastern University studying Marketing and Business Administration where I’m a member of the Women’s basketball team and am a Resident Assistant. I played soccer all my life prior to college and am an avid Premier League fan supporting Tottenham Hotspur. I love traveling and visiting new places and am on a quest for the best cup of coffee on the Main Line with my friends. I’m excited to coach Soccer shots, work with kids, and see them learn something new every session!

I was named after Maureen O’Hara’s character (Mary Kate Danaher) from the movie, The Quiet Man.
