Park Program Coach
Coach Erin was born and raised in Southbury Connecticut, playing soccer herself since the age of 5. She came to Cincinnati in 2007 to attend Xavier University where she majored in Public Relations and minored in English. She decided to stick around, making Cincinnati her hometown #2 after landing a great job at Window Genie’s corporate headquarters in West Chester shortly after graduation in 2011. Coach Erin joined Soccer Shots in the spring of 2015, running parks programs in Oakley and Hyde Park on the weekends. Having great memories of youth soccer herself, she is happy to have the opportunity to work with local kids, setting a foundation on the importance of sport for friendship, teamwork and self-confidence.
Coach Lauren grew up in the Cincinnati area and started playing soccer at the age of 4. She played soccer for Ursuline Academy and then decided to stay home and play for the University of Cincinnati. Some of Coach Lauren’s favorite soccer memories are winning a club national championship, playing and winning the nation’s cup tourney in London representing the U.S., and having Lou Holtz come up and shake her hand after the NCAA tournament game against Notre Dame. Coach Lauren still loves to get out on soccer field and play, however most of her time is spent watching her 5 kids play lacrosse, soccer and run cross country. She also shares her home with a boston terrier, a great dane, a bearded Dragon, some tree frogs, and their cat Carl. Coach Lauren really enjoys teaching your kids the game she loves!
Coach Julie has been a Soccer Shots coach since 2013 and absolutely loves coaching soccer. She is thankful to call coaching her “job.” Julie has been playing soccer since the age of 8 and played for Kettering Alter in high school and then went on to play at the College of Mt. St. Joseph which she refers to as her glory days. Coach Julie has a passion for coaching and plans to continue to coach for years to come. Julie loves boating, watching high school and college football and soccer, FC Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Reds, and enjoys her adventurous vacations! Julie also has a great career as a realtor and flips houses in her spare time.
Coach Julie has been married to her wonderful husband for 23 years, has two awesome boys, Jesse (19) and Joey (17) and her chocolate lab, Buckeye.
Julie is looking forward to meeting your child and teaching them the skills that they will need to play the amazing game of soccer.
Coach Amy has been coaching soccer for 20 years and with Soccer Shots since 2014. She lives in Westchester with her husband Cory and 3 children, Sydney (18), Caleigh (16) and Brady (12). Prior to joining Soccer Shots, Coach Amy was a stay at home mom and provided child care in her home for 13 years. She enjoys camping, boating, fishing and watching her kids play sports. Her favorite part in teaching young children is seeing their faces light up when they get a move right on their own or score a goal. We don’t just teach kids how to play soccer, we teach them patience, discipline, sharing, balance, gross motor skills, sportsmanship, etc…. but most importantly how to have fun!
Coach Janice has been involved in soccer for over 20 years, watching her children play and coaching. She has been teaching at Soccer Shots since it started in 2007. Prior to joining Soccer Shots, Coach Janice taught for Cincinnati Public Schools for 30 years. She enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family. Janice participates in several 5k’s during the year.
If you have a passion for positively impacting children, we’d love to talk to you.
