Director of Partner Relations
Coach Erica is our Director of Partner Relations and she grew up in Ohio, where she graduated from Youngstown State University with an Early Childhood Education degree. She has been teaching since 2006, and even coached for Soccer Shots (Columbus) before moving to Colorado in 2012. Coach Erica used to live and play in the snowy mountains of Summit County and has recently moved to Denver. She enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking with her fiancé and dog, Teddy. When she’s not carrying around her bag of soccer gear, you can find Coach Erica on her bike or practicing yoga.
Director of Operations
Coach Jake is our Director of Operations and has been playing soccer for as long as he can remember. He came to Denver in 2013 to attend the University of Denver, from which he graduated with degrees in Biology and Film Studies and Production. When he’s not teaching his friends new skills on the field, you can find Coach Jake pursuing his hobbies of filmmaking, ice hockey, skiing, and go-karting, or working on Micro Sprint cars in the pits of the I-76 Speedway.
Director of Coaching
Coach Patrick is our Director of Coaching and has been watching and playing soccer since he was a mini! He played all the way up until high school and has not stopped watching. Coach Patrick graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management. He has coached others since the age of fourteen in various sports, but soccer is his favorite.
Coach Amanda grew up in Iowa, where she graduated from the University of Iowa with an Elementary Education degree. She has been teaching preschool in the Denver area since moving to Colorado in July. She loves working with students, and getting to be a fun and exciting part of their day! When she isn’t coaching soccer, she is outside climbing, hiking, or running!
Coach Ben has been back and forth between Kansas and Colorado for most of his life. Ben has a passion for music, and is currently studying Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is very excited to use soccer to help kids develop into well rounded individuals. When Ben not studying, or coaching soccer, he can usually be found practicing his guitar, playing flag football, or spending as much time outside as possible.
Coach Cody was born in Colorado and has lived here for his entire life. He started playing soccer when he was 5 and played all the way through high school. When he’s not on Soccer Island, he loves doing stuff outdoors like hiking 14ers or going skiing and he’s super excited to help his new friends get better at soccer!
Coach Hannah is new to the Denver area, but it not new to soccer shots. She grew up in Pennsylvania where she coached soccer shots for three seasons. She has been playing soccer since the age of six, and played at the collegiate level at Penn State Harrisburg. She loves teaching her soccer friends the most important rule of soccer shot, which is to have FUN! Coach Hannah has a master’s degree in sport management, and loves kayaking and hiking when she’s not coaching.
Coach Katie has been playing soccer since she was six years old. She played all throughout junior high and high school, and has been coaching youth soccer since 2013. When she’s not coaching on Soccer Island, you might find her listening to her collection of old records. She also loves being outdoors, whether it’s playing in the snow or going for a hike. Coach Katie has a degree in baking and pastry arts from Johnson & Wales University- for your next soiree be sure to give Coach Katie a call!
Coach Nathaniel, also known as Coach G, has lived in Colorado his entire life. He grew up playing all kinds of sports but soccer is his favorite. He is currently pursuing a history degree with Liberty University. He enjoys watching and playing basketball, soccer, volleyball, and a lot more sports. Coach G also loves to spend time with his family and friends.
Coach Nick has been playing soccer since the age of 3, and started at striker for his 4 years of varsity soccer. His favorite part of the game is scoring a goal with a header, and his favorite part of coaching is being able to help the children build character. When Coach Nick isn’t kicking, he spends his time with his camera or hitting the skatepark.
