Shane grew up in the D/FW area, and from the early age of 5 was playing sports. Shane has a true passion and appreciation for sports, for the game. Over the past 30+ years he has been coaching, training, and playing the game, which led him to pursue a career where he now continues his passion full time.
Shane believes that soccer builds confidence and progresses one both physically and technically, whether it is to introduce the game to the newest of players, or develop players beyond the basics. The game teaches sportsmanship and team-building, and develops active lifestyle habits. One of Shane’s favorite moments while coaching are the “a-ha” moments, that exciting moment when the kids really “get it” — those influential moments and watching each child progress and develop in stages, while they become passionate and more confident in their sport. Shane encourages kids to have fun while learning and being active.
Shane lives in Roanoke with his wife, Stacy, and their three children Trevor, Haylee Jo, and Jayden Brooke. They live an active lifestyle and enjoy sports, fitness, and outdoor activities.
