Ken Eyjolfson, COO/Owner
Born in the northern B.C. town of Terrace, Ken started playing soccer at a young age and on select teams during his youth. He has continued playing organized team sports throughout his life. He is currently working as a firefighter: a career where athletics, commitment, teamwork and responsibility are top priority. He enjoys bringing these qualities, as well as others, to Soccer Shots to help create the best possible environment for children to develop both as players and individuals, all while having a great time!
Devin Nunemaker, CMO/Owner
Devin has been enjoying playing on organized team sports all of his life. He started at a young age and continues to play presently. Having always loved sports, physical training and working in a team environment he knew a great career for him would be firefighting. He is currently working as a professional firefighter in the lower mainland, which he has been doing since 2008. Although he loves his job as a firefighter, he joined Soccer Shots to find a way to be more involved with two more of his passions: sports and working with children.
Kathrin Arcari, Director of Operations
Born and raised in Langley, BC Kathrin began playing soccer at a young age and continued to play for over 15 years. In addition to soccer, she has participated in numerous team sports throughout her life. She attended university, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology and Counselling. Although she loved that, her passion is in athletics and children and therefore, she decided to pursue a career in that field – leading her to Soccer Shots!
Aliesha Ferraby, Director of Coaching Aliesha has been playing soccer since she was 5 years old and still continues to play at a high level in a women’s division. Growing up playing multiple sports she has grown to love the dedication, healthy life style and commitment that comes along with it. Another passion of hers is kids. Ever since she was young she has loved to teach or help kids. Her role at Soccer Shots Fraser Valley implements all of her passions into her dream job, as Director of Coaching. She is thrilled to be able to have the best of both by getting the chance of working with kids while playing soccer. One of her favourite parts about working for Soccer Shots is seeing the children’s confidence grow not only as a player, but in their character development as well.
If you have a passion for positively impacting children, we’d love to talk to you.

The History of Soccer Shots
Our founding partners, Jeremy Sorzano and Jason Webb, were soccer teammates both in college and professionally. They formed Soccer Shots® in 1998 after recognizing a lack of quality soccer programs for children under age 8. They shared an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep love of soccer, and a passion to inspire children to live fit and healthy lives.
The success of Soccer Shots in Charlotte, NC and Harrisburg, PA, where Sorzano and Webb first launched their businesses, led to several of their friends and former teammates wanting to get involved. In 2005, Soccer Shots began franchising and opened its first four franchises in OH, DE, FL, and PA. The business opportunity began to attract more soccer entrepreneurs, and Soccer Shots has enjoyed growing around the country and into Canada.
In May of 2009, Justin Bredeman, another former college soccer teammate, became the third Soccer Shots partner. Justin brought with him eight years of experience from Auntie Anne’s, Inc., a pretzel franchising company, where he led a team that supported nearly 800 franchise units. His deep understanding of the franchise business model also comes from the knowledge gained from his five years of owning and running a Soccer Shots business of his own.
In August of 2009, the Soccer Shots partners founded the Soccer Shots Foundation, the non-profit arm of Soccer Shots. The Soccer Shots Foundation provides opportunities to economically challenged children within the U.S. and around the world through the game of soccer.
From its humble beginnings, Soccer Shots has grown beyond Jeremy and Jason’s biggest dreams, with over 180 territories across 37 states and Canada. In 2016, more than 335,000 children participated in Soccer Shots.
The business is consistently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the #1 Children’s Fitness Franchise in the U.S. And today, Soccer Shots is positioned as the best-in-class children’s soccer program with a focus on character development.
And while the accolades are appreciated, our mission remains focused – positively impacting children’s lives.
Soccer Shots Franchising, LLC is based in central Pennsylvania, just east of Harrisburg.
