I played soccer and softball growing up, and I was on a variety of high school sports teams, including the basketball, volleyball, soccer, and badminton team! Soccer was my main sport, and I played Metro and HPL soccer for many years. I stopped playing soccer when I reached university to give myself more time for my academics and work, but sports have always been important to me, and they still are! Coaching for Soccer Shots brings me so much joy, because I love working with kids. Every session is so much fun, and watching the kids develop their skills and confidence each week is incredibly rewarding. Soccer Shots gives me the opportunity to be a role model for young children and enrich their lives through soccer, and I’m so happy to be a part of such an amazing company!
I grew up playing soccer in elementary school and high school as well as multiple other sports such as volleyball. Unfortunately, I had to stop playing soccer because I injured my knee, but would love to have continued to be able to play. What I love most about coaching is the children. They take pleasure in the simple things in life and they keep me young at heart. They get excited about every little thing and their smiles and laughs makes my heart so content.
I played volleyball, basketball, soccer and rugby, growing up. Though I grew fonder of the soccer and rugby as I got older. I love the fact that I have an excuse to goof around with the children as well as grow the exposure of the great game of soccer, all while coaching future billionaires.
Growing up I played every sport I could get my hands onto, including hockey, basketball, baseball and soccer. I have continued to pursue soccer and downhill skiing recreationally as a way to stay fit and enjoy the outdoors! My love of teaching has inspired me to one day become a teacher. What I love the most about coaching for Soccer Shots it that I love getting to work outdoors with kids, and getting to be a part of their growing passion for sport. Seeing their improvement throughout the season, and the “aha” moments when they grasp a new skill make it all worth it!
When I was younger I played soccer, softball, and gymnastics for most of my childhood and developed my love for athletics and a healthy lifestyle, which has lead me to my future career path of wanting to work in a hospital in order to help others as a respiratory therapist. My favourite thing about coaching for Soccer Shots is getting to know the kids and being able to see their growth over each season!
Growing up my parents had me try a few different activities but soccer seemed to my passion as I currently play for the University of Fraser Valley. I love to teach others which is why I am currently studying to History as I want to become a teacher. My favourite thing part about coaching for Soccer Shots is the chance to show kids how fun the sport can be and how great every class is.
Throughout my youth I played both soccer and softball competitively. I also played volleyball and basketball in elementary school and high school. Soccer is the only sport I continue to play because it is my favourite sport and something I am extremely passionate about. The best thing about coaching for Soccer Shots is definitely the children. I love getting to know all the children with their wonderful and unique personalities. There is no better feeling than when I see a child accomplish a skill they’ve been struggling with, or come out of their shell and start getting really involved in the scrimmage. Soccer had such a positive influence on me as a child, so I want their soccer experience to be something super fun and positive as well!
I have played soccer for 14 years as I started when I was 5 years old and I am currently still playing softball as an adult. One of my biggest passions is teaching and helping others, which has lead me to become an elementary school teacher as my career path. Soccer Shots has given me the ability to apply both of these passions. My favourite thing I I love about coaching is seeing the children’s face light up when we’re are playing games or when they have mastered a new skill!
I played organized soccer and ball hockey while growing up but I played other sports like basketball and volleyball with my friends for fun. Sports has always been one of my biggest passions and is the reason why I still continue to play soccer at a university level for Trinity Western University. My favourite thing about coaching with Soccer Shots is seeing the kids joy and pride after learning a new skill and the confidence it gives them.
Born in the United States, I grew up playing soccer and joined a women’s soccer team recently. I am currently going to school in Canada and hope to one day work in a church. I love coaching for Soccer Shots because I really believe in the curriculum, as it is made by early child educators. I love teaching the kids and watching them learn and progress. It’s also tons of fun!
Growing up I played soccer, volleyball, and basketball and I have still continued to play soccer more consistently up until graduating from high school. I still till try to play most of these sports when I get the chance to with my friends and family in my spare time. Coaching for Soccer Shots has allowed me to work closely with kids and help them develop as individuals. One of the things I love most about coaching for Soccer Shots is being able to connect with the kids and get to know what each child brings whether it be their personality, skills, talents, imagination, while interacting with them as a coach and a friend.
Growing up I was heavily in involved in Soccer, Basketball and Track. I continued to play basketball into my early twenty’s at university and have recently switched back to playing soccer. I currently still play in a women’s league in Abbotsford. Since I have always been involved in sports, I love seeing kids and parents getting involved indoors and outdoors. I love coaching for Soccer Shots because each kid is unique and brings a different skill to the game, whether it be enthusiasm, energy or fundamental skills. No class is ever the same and you learn something new each time you coach, about yourself and the kids you are coaching.
I played soccer and volleyball growing up. I still play soccer for a women’s league as well as I snow skiing in the winter and water skiing in the summer. I am currently going to school to become a biology high school teacher, as I love kids and learning. Working for Soccer Shots allows me to watch and help a a child learn and grow throughout a session or throughout the season.
I grew up playing soccer for over 15 years on youth teams and loved every minute of it. Growing up I loved being around kids and it inspired me to pursue a career in a field where I can help kids. My future career goal is to work as a pediatric nurse in a hospital as I want to be able to help young children. Coaching at Soccer Shots has allowed me to combine two of my passions of working with kids and playing soccer.
I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I competed in track and field in high school and volleyball and basketball when I was in elementary school. I also played one season of roller hockey, I wasn’t really great at it but I won the cup and never looked back. I love being able to spend time with a group of kids and working on our skills together while working hard, learning lots and having fun in a positive environment!
Growing up I played soccer, basketball and hockey. Currently I ride horses and it has become one of my favourite hobbies. My favourite thing about coaching for Soccer Shots is seeing kids grow and develop new skills throughout the season!
I grew up playing basketball and soccer and play soccer for the University of Fraser Valley. Which is something I preach to all kids at a young age. Coaching for Soccer Shots allows me to have fun while working. My favourite thing about coaching is making the children laugh and smile.
Growing up, I played soccer, basketball, volleyball, karate, and I raced mountain bikes. One of my biggest passions as well as sports is traveling as I recently got my tourism diploma. Along with traveling, comes learning and life experiences. One of the main reasons I love to coach for Soccer Shots is seeing the kids develop in their skills over the course of a season while making new friends!
Growing up I tried many different sports, until I stumbled upon Soccer, and have loved it ever since. Soccer gives me this indescribable joy. One of my passions is to help people and I hope to pursue a degree in social work in order to help others and give back to my community. The one thing I love about coaching for Soccer Shots are the kids and their energy. It’s so much fun interacting with them and seeing them being filled with energy and enjoying themselves. It’s like being in a bubble of wonder and fun.
Growing up I played all sorts of sports! Soccer was my first but I also played basketball, volleyball, rugby, and track and field! I just recently got back into playing soccer after ten years! My favourite thing about coaching for Soccer Shots is seeing all of the improvements the kids make! Especially seeing them from starting at 2’s all the way to 5-8’s! The progress is really cool to see! I also like to hear the kids try and say my real name, Sukrita. We shortened it to Rita to make it easier for the kids!
