Meet The Coaches

We are proud to have the best coaches in youth soccer.

Amy A.

Amy A.

Coach & Cabarrus County Director

Coach Amy started playing soccer when she was 8 yrs old, and continued playing all through high school and then intramurals in college. She still enjoys playing in Charlotte area ladies’ and co-ed leagues.

Not only is Amy a fantastic coach, she is also very driven and believes in the Soccer Shots message.  And because of that, she has added the role of Cabarrus County Sales Manager to her role as Coach!

“I live in Charlotte with my husband and 2 sons, and I have coached both of them in their early years playing recreational soccer. I have also been a substitute teacher in their preschool, and I have held just about every possible PTA position, from President to Book Fair Chair, Finance Chair, Fall Festival Chair, etc.

My job with Soccer Shots is a fantastic mix of two of my favorite things – working with children and playing soccer!”

Gabby V.

Gabby V.

Coach & Marketing Coordinator

Coach Gabby began playing soccer at the age of five in New Jersey where she grew up. Since then, she’s played on various travel and school teams. Some of her greatest memories growing up were from her time playing soccer and being a part of teams, and she can’t wait to spend time developing that same passion in other children through Soccer Shots!

In addition to coaching, Gabby is also bringing her experience in the marketing industry to us and helping us grow! We’re very happy to have her as part of our team!

‘I’ve played soccer since I was five years old and now I play in adult leagues. I’ve run summer soccer camps while I was in high school and I substitute teach when I’m not out on the soccer field. I look forward to meeting you all this season!’
