Coach Jamie

Coach Jamie

Owner/Director

Soccer Shots Greater St. Louis is owned and operated by Jamie Cody and his wife, Nicole. Working together as “Team Cody,” they strive to deliver exceptional programs that children, families and school staff value and enjoy. As parents of three — Micah, Ava Grace and James — they understand and appreciate the needs, challenges and perspectives of families with young children.

Coach Jamie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Soccer Shots. Soccer has been his passion since he started playing the game at the age of 5. He played competitive soccer through high school, and went on to play four years at the collegiate level at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating with a bachelor’s in biology, Coach Jamie continued to stay connected to the sport through coaching. He started coaching youth soccer in 2006, and currently holds the USSF-D coaching license. He is also a USSF-certified Missouri State referee and can generally be found somewhere on a soccer field at some point during the weekends in soccer season, either on the sidelines as a coach, or on the field as a referee.

Coach Jamie and Nicole opened Soccer Shots in April 2010, and then expanded the Team Cody family in 2013 to include North St. Louis County, as well as the Columbia/Jefferson City area in Mid Missouri. Then, in February 2018, Team Cody acquired the St. Louis County franchise and Soccer Shots Greater St. Louis was formed.
