Coach Sydney was born and raised in Burlington and soccer was her very first sport! After playing five years of soccer, she began to play hockey throughout the winter season as well. Faced with the tough decision of only pursuing one sport, Sydney began her journey with the Burlington Barracudas where she played competitively for eight years! Throughout this time, Sydney was also involved in school sports such as Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball and Rugby. Sydney is currently in her fourth year of studies in the Concurrent Education Program at Brock University and will begin her adventure in Teacher’s College in the Fall. During her time at Brock, she has had various elementary school placements and participated in various volunteer initiatives within both the Halton and Niagara regions. Through personal experience, Sydney internalizes what an influential role both coaches and teachers have on children and never takes this influence for granted. Sydney is thrilled to be representing Soccer Shots in her spiffy orange jersey and is eager to bring her spunky personality to Soccer Island!
