Coaching and Program Coordinator
Born in Havana, Cuba, raised in Toronto and then relocated to Milton at the age of 12, Coach Eros has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Sports Management. Eros has an extensive soccer background as both a player and a coach. Eros was introduced to soccer at the age of 3 and it has been his passion ever since. Eros played the majority of his youth soccer with the North Mississauga Panthers and then Toronto FC’s Academy during their inaugural season. After graduating from high school at Bishop Reding, he moved on to play soccer at Manhattanville College in New York on a scholarship and was also part of Milltowne FC. Eros has nearly 10 years of coaching experience at the youth, competitive, and university levels in both Canada and the United States. Eros enjoys enriching, developing and building up the lives of youth through soccer.
Coach Sydney was born and raised in Burlington and soccer was her very first sport! After playing five years of soccer, she began to play hockey throughout the winter season as well. Faced with the tough decision of only pursuing one sport, Sydney began her journey with the Burlington Barracudas where she played competitively for eight years! Throughout this time, Sydney was also involved in school sports such as Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball and Rugby. Sydney is currently in her fourth year of studies in the Concurrent Education Program at Brock University and will begin her adventure in Teacher’s College in the Fall. During her time at Brock, she has had various elementary school placements and participated in various volunteer initiatives within both the Halton and Niagara regions. Through personal experience, Sydney internalizes what an influential role both coaches and teachers have on children and never takes this influence for granted. Sydney is thrilled to be representing Soccer Shots in her spiffy orange jersey and is eager to bring her spunky personality to Soccer Island!
From an early age, Madi has been active in a number of sports such as: gymnastics, hockey, and soccer. At the age of 8, her overwhelming passion for soccer kicked in and she chose to focus solely on that sport. She is now in her 15th year of playing and still has the same love and passion as when she started. Over the last 7 years, Madi has volunteered helping children at various skill levels develop and play soccer for North Mississauga Soccer Club, Clarkson Soccer Club, Mississauga Falcon Soccer Club and the Special Olympics. Currently, Madi is a member of the Sheridan Burins Varsity Women’s Soccer Team, and continues to train with North Mississauga Soccer Club. She is enrolled in the Early Childhood Program at Sheridan College, and will graduate in 2022 with her Bachelor of Education Leadership.
Julia is a young charismatic individual who loves children and soccer. She has spent most of her life helping, serving, and volunteering in her community and church to give children a positive experience any way she can. Julia has played soccer her entire life and loves being part of a team. She is so grateful and excited to have the opportunity to positively impact children through soccer!
Born and raised in Mississauga, Zen has been playing soccer since he was 4 years old. He was able to win the Ontario Cup with Oakville Soccer Club and currently plays with Sigma FC in League 1. Zen has always participated in athletics with his school teams such as: swimming, basketball, volleyball, and football. He loves working with children and enjoys seeing them have fun, grow and develop through the game of soccer. Zen currently studies Business Administration at the university of Guelph-Humber.
Kinga moved to Canada at the age of 10 and instantly her family enrolled her into soccer. She played soccer throughout her youth in Guelph and grew to love the game. She was on the Athletic Council in university and played many different intramural sports. Kinga has organized soccer tournaments for ALS the past 5 years to raise awareness and funds for research. She is a proud mother of two and loves teaching children. She loves soccer and doing anything outdoors!
Brian has been playing soccer since he was six years old. He has a great passion for the beautiful game and wants to pass on that passion to the youth through Soccer Shots. Brian is studying Social Work and plans to help children with his education. He is excited to help develop children through soccer!
Yasmine was born and raised in Edmundston, New Brunswick. She started playing soccer at the age of three and played every summer until high school. Throughout her childhood she also did figure skating, basketball, and swimming. She studied kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick and coached children soccer at the local YMCA. Yasmine is currently studying Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College and spends her free time coaching young children who are eager to learn and have fun!
Coach Levi was born in South Africa and moved to Milton, Ontario at the age of 10. Since moving to Canada, Levi has enjoyed playing organized sports such as: soccer, basketball, and even represented Canada as the captain of the U18 invitational football team. In his spare time, Levi loves to go snowboarding and is an avid surfer! Levi’s favourite aspect of sports is TEAMWORK and loves passing this passion onto the next generation through Soccer Shots!
Coach Ciara was born in Brampton, and raised in Georgetown. Ciara has been playing soccer since she was 5 years old with Georgetown Soccer Club. In addition to soccer, Ciara also played hockey with the North Halton Twisters. Ciara is currently enrolled at Sheridan College working towards a diploma in Information Technologies Support Services. She is looking forward to helping the children in Halton and Mississauga excel through Soccer Shots!
Coach Sahar was raised in Mississauga and started playing soccer at the age of 12 with Erin Mills Soccer Club. Sahar loves working with children and aspires to become a teacher. Currently, Sahar is enrolled at Sheridan College studying Early Childhood Education. During her free time, she loves to snowboard and volunteer in the community. Sahar is very excited to share her love of soccer with all of our future Soccer Shots stars!
Born and raised in Brampton, Coach Josh is a self-proclaimed female version of Pascal Siakam; a basketball player with a passion for playing and coaching soccer. Josh started working with kids when she was in high school and volunteered as a tutor at Kumon. She continues to inspire youth as a basketball coach and high-school mentor. Josh is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology at McMaster University and hopes to attend medical school in the future. When she’s not studying, you’ll find her playing basketball, cheering on the Toronto Raptors and convincing her dad that she’s the best soccer player in the family. Josh is looking forward to sharing her passion for soccer with our Soccer Shots stars on Soccer Island!
Coach Stephanie was born and raised in Mississauga. She’s been playing soccer since the age of 3 and has participated in multiple sports such as cross country, flag football, volleyball and track and field. Her hard work and dedication has earned her awards such as athlete of the year and MVP. Currently, Stephanie is a member of the Women’s Soccer team at Ontario Tech University and is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. Growing up with athletics, Stephanie knows there’s so many lessons that can be taught through sport. She understands the curiosity of young children and is excited to guide them through a rewarding experience at Soccer Shots.
