Throughout this time, Sydney was also involved in school sports such as Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball and Rugby. Sydney is currently in her fourth year of studies in the Concurrent Education Program at Brock University and will begin her adventure in Teacher’s College in the Fall. During her time at Brock, she has had various elementary school placements and participated in various volunteer initiatives within both the Halton and Niagara regions. Through personal experience, Sydney internalizes what an influential role both coaches and teachers have on children and never takes this influence for granted.
