Alex has a vast amount of coaching and playing experience along with positive energy and lots of passion for the sport of soccer. His love for the game developed at an early age in his hometown of Medellin, Colombia, as a young player he played at high school and college levels. He also started developing his coaching skills early in his life as he coached his first team at age 16. Since then Alex has coached many young players, elevating and accelerating the development of many young athletes.
Alex strongly believes soccer offers children the opportunity to develop their self-esteem while participating in a discipline that requires them to stretch their physical and psychological selves. The game also allows them to work on their social and team-working skills that will become invaluable as these young athletes grow and mature. Fun however, must remain part of the game and Alex strives at every single soccer session to make sure that his athletes learn the sport while enjoying it.
Alex is an active member of the NSCAA and USSF. He currently resides in Levittown, NY with his wife Marcela and his daughter Tatiana.
As Director, Marcela manages our growth and organizational planning for the region.
Born and raised in Colombia, Marcela grew up surrounded by soccer. Athletics taught her that discipline, dedication and patience are essential to reach one’s goals, lessons she hopes to instill in each and every one of her players.
Her vision is to provide a program that not only teaches soccer and physical fitness, but also helps lay a foundation of success in all areas of a child’s life.
