Coach Andrew loves Soccer Shots because it gives kids a chance to learn to love a sport played all over the world in a fun an encouraging environment.
In addition to Soccer Shots, Andrew volunteers at his church in the Children’s Ministry department working with children from 1st grade all the way to 6th grade.
Favorite movie as a child? Aladdin
With a passion to help others, Coach Mario has found it extremely rewarding to work with children. With 4 years of experience working for LAUSD as a sports coach, recess program leader, fitness club leader and a TA in the classroom, he understands the importance of physical activity for students. Coach Mario is First Aid and CPR Certified; he also has studied Early Childhood Education.
Prior to joining the Soccer Shots Team, Coach Sheila was a nanny to two families, until she was ready for a family of her own. Now she is a mother to a daughter patiently awaiting her own Soccer Shots debut.
Sheila loves Soccer Shots because she gets the opportunity to witness the emotional highs and lows of learning something new and the personal growth that occurs for each child.

Coach Geo loves Soccer Shots because he really enjoys teaching young children the beautiful game of soccer! Coach Geo has earned Early Childhood Education credits, and has previous experience as a behavior therapist.
Most memorable moment playing sports as a child? Scoring three goals on his birthday in his soccer game.
Favorite fruits and vegetables? Watermelon, pineapple, and carrots.
Live, Love and Travel! Coach Geo wants to visit as many countries as possible!
Coach Kyle loves Soccer Shots because of the combination of its focus on skill and character development, philosophy, and love for the game.

Other fun facts? Kyle speaks French and has been to the World Cup.
Before working for Soccer Shots Coach Justin worked at Disneyland as a Skipper on the Jungle Cruise.
Most memorable moment playing sports as a child? Playing for his dad as his coach.
Other fun facts? At age 14 he had a black belt, and he reads a new book once a week.
In addition to Soccer Shots Ana works as a Playground Supervisor/Trainer for Youth Services/LAUSD. She coaches children for tournaments in different sports, assists with homework, and encourages healthy eating and exercising.
Favorite fruits and vegetables? Bananas, mangoes, watermelon, spinach, kale, carrots, and edamame.
Relevant degrees or training? BA in Liberal Studies; currently working on a Child Development certification.
What does Coach Andy love most about Soccer Shots? I love the energy level that’s created and shared!

Fun Facts? Coach Andy plays ice hockey. In his free time, he enjoys a good game of golf.
What does Coach Ben love the most about Soccer Shots? I’m a true fan of the positive learning environment.
Favorite childhood memory playing sports? I remember hitting the fence when playing baseball!
What does Coach Ben do in his free time? When he’s not teaching, Coach Ben enjoys playing guitar.
Coach Ben was previously an athletics coach for an after school program and is excited to blend his skills and experience with the positive environment at Soccer Shots!

Coach Cat loves Soccer Shots because we get to be as silly as possible every day, with amazing, fabulous children!
Relevant degrees or training? Certified child yoga instructor, Social and emotional arts instructor through UCLA Arts and Healing, CPR/First Aid certified. Cat has also worked with City Year Los Angeles in an elementary school in Watts, and as a camp counselor at Brave Trails, Camp Galileo, and Camp Aranu’tiq.
Other fun facts? Coach Cat never wears matching socks (ever).
Coach Deymian was a Behavioral Therapist before joining Soccer Shots to focus on age appropriate character development for children.
Favorite childhood memory playing sports? Playing soccer on the beach in Brazil!

Coach Mikey loves Soccer Shots because it is such a loving and supportive environment for the children!

What does Coach Mikey do in her free time? She films for her u-tube program! Coach Mikey also loves hanging out with her friends!
In addition to Soccer Shots, where Dana enjoys the positive impact on children’ s lives, Coach Dana studies photography and attends Film School.
Favorite childhood memory playing sports? Coach Dana traveled to Australia to play soccer.
Other fun facts? Coach Dana likes to snowboard and hike!
Prior to working with Soccer Shots, Coach Diego was a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Northern New Jersey. He currently attends CSUN full time, working on a degree in Marketing.

My favorite memory playing sports would have to be playing soccer with my older brother in our backyard; I would always be the goalie.
Coach Drew loves Soccer Shots because he sincerely loves working with children, and watching their minds work when attempting to learn new skills. It brings him joy when a child’s face lights up after he or she has learned something new, and was able to successfully complete it.
In addition to Soccer Shots Coach Drew works for a talent agency called The Gersh Agency, where he is working to become an agent.

Coach Erik loves Soccer Shots because he can have a positive impact on children’s lives while teaching them how fun soccer is.

Prior to joining the Soccer Shots Team, Coach Jordy is attending school and studying Psychology at CSUN.
What do you like to do in your free time? Hike and go to the beach.

Prior to joining the Soccer Shots Team, Coach Jorge worked at a dental office. He has been watching and playing soccer for over 10 years!
Jorge loves Soccer Shots because of the positive culture it provides and for the amazing support everyone shows towards each other.
Fun Fact? Jorge has a twin sister and a little sister.
Prior to joining the Soccer Shots Team, Coach Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree at Long Beach State. Julie is also the proud mother of two children. She enjoys playing with them in her free time.

What did you do before Soccer Shots? Coach Melissa played soccer in college, where she obtained a BA and a minor in sociology. Melissa has experience coaching soccer and experience in education as a teacher’s aid for second grade students.
Coach Melissa loves Soccer Shots because she can pursue her passion of providing soccer coaching to children.
Favorite foods, fruits and vegetables? Coach Melissa loves mangos, bell peppers, raspberries and strawberries. As a foodie, you can usually find her at her favorite taco stands!
Coach Serv loves Soccer Shots because of the discipline, the amazing team members and to be able to proudly wear the Soccer Shots jersey.

What did you do before Soccer Shots? Coach Will ran a Youth Soccer Club in Beijing. He is a licensed Soccer U.S. Federation Coach.
