Emma is a recent transfer from our friends over at Soccer Shots Charlotte. Being a soccer player herself, Emma has found her passion and continues her five years of experience with the company in the Bay Area. She is first aid and CPR certified and has been working with children for over ten years. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and taking her dog with her to as many places as possible.
Soccer has been a part of Fidel’s life since his youth. Growing up in Berkeley, California, Fidel has worked with various children’s programs in the East Bay. He enjoys working with children and has found that Soccer Shots lets his goofy side shine while playing his favorite sport. He also coaches the Alameda High School Men’s soccer team. Fidel is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Coach Jaime was born and raised in Mexico. Competitive soccer has always been a part of his life. Coach Jaime plays for the Men’s soccer team at Contra Costa College and aspires to continue his soccer career beyond college. His love for the beautiful game has led him to Soccer Shots where he hopes to create an impact in their lives and create the same passion for the sport he has had since he was young. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has lived in the Bay Area since the age of five.
A Sacramento native, Jordan graduated from Dominican University of California with a Bachelors’ degree in sports communications. At Dominican he played NCAA soccer, as well as founded and coached the school’s club soccer team. Jordan is the coordinator of an esteemed summer day-camp in Sacramento. He has worked at after-school programs for the past few years, always bringing a fun and positive attitude with him. Currently, Jordan spends time playing basketball, soccer, and hiking across the Bay Area.
Jose was born in Texas but grew up in Portugal, having lived there most of his life. He played soccer in local academies at a competitive level and has not stopped ever since. As a globetrotter he also lived in Belgium and Denmark where he recently finished his M.A. in International Relations. He moved to the Bay Area in 2015 and his passion for soccer and working with children led him to Soccer Shots. Jose is fluent in English and Portuguese.
Born and raised in Mexico, Ken is fluent in Spanish and English. He played competitive soccer through high school, and continues to play recreationally. Ken discovered his passion for working with children during his first job at an after school center. Ever since, Ken has worked in after school programs, summer camps, and child care for many families. Currently, he studies early childhood education and enjoys being part of the Soccer Shots team.
As the youngest member of a “soccer family,” Kira can’t remember a time soccer when wasn’t a part of her life and is excited to share the game with the next generation. Kira coached youth soccer as her first summer job in high school. In college she volunteered as a tutor in the Philadelphia public schools. After a couple of years of working behind a desk, Kira is excited to return to the soccer field and to working with kids. When she’s not coaching soccer, Kira spends as much time as possible absorbing stories, whether from books, movies or podcasts.
After falling short of making it to the Olympic trial team in competitive speed skating, Tiffany decided to transition over to soccer in middle school. Her first job was as a youth soccer referee. She ended up competing at the high school and collegiate levels. Choosing a career in education, she later returned to the sport as a high school women’s soccer at the school where she was teaching English, Drama, and Debate. After nearly 20 years working in K-12 education formally in classrooms, in the private industry, and in extra-curricular activities, she is so happy to have discovered Soccer Shots!
