Lauren Moorman

Lauren Moorman

Coach

Coach Lauren grew up in Centerville where a passion for sports started early. She earned and education degree from The Ohio State University where she found a love for kids and coaching. Lauren has experience teaching kids from preschool to middle school age children, including children with disabilities. When she isn’t coaching, Lauren is a certified personal trainer, enjoys playing tennis and soccer, and snuggling with her dog.

Becca Corbin

Becca Corbin

Program Coordinator

Becca grew up in Kettering and gained her love for soccer here in the Dayton area. She attended Archbishop Alter High School and went on to play Division I Soccer at Bowling Green State University while earning her Bachelors in Education. Following her playing career, she went on to work with the Wright State University Women’s Soccer team as an Assistant Coach. During this time she also earned her Masters in Sports Leadership from Duquesne University. Most recently, Becca has also gained administrative experience as the Assistant Athletic Director for Cincinnati Christian University. Now along with serving as the Program Coordinator and Coaching at Soccer Shots she is also an Assistant Coach for the Alter High School Girl’s Soccer Program.  Over the years she has enjoyed sharing her passion for athletics and soccer with athletes from the youth to collegiate levels. She currently lives in Tipp City, Ohio with her husband Kyle.

Kelsey Deal

Kelsey Deal

Coach

Coach Kelsey grew up in Piqua, Ohio. She played soccer for Galaxies FC, Piqua High School, and in college at Wright State University. She has experience as a goalkeeper coach at Metro FC, UNOH, and Centerville High School. She is also the owner and coach at Guardian Goalkeeper Academy. Coach Kelsey is currently continuing her education at Wright State University. She is a self-proclaimed kid at heart and has experience with children through coaching, volunteering, and being a substitute at schools. When Coach Kelsey isn’t playing soccer or coaching, she enjoys playing basketball, going to the gym, reading books, and playing fetch with her cat, Reggie.

Elijah Emmons

Elijah Emmons

Coach

Coach EJ grew up in Dayton, Ohio. He began playing  club soccer at 7 years old, all the way up until he was 18 years old. He then went on to earn a degree from the University of Findlay, where he played soccer for 4 more years. EJ has coaching experience from volunteering as a recreational coach at Action Sports Center. He has experience with children through volunteering at KODA Camp, the YMCA, and Deaf events. When Coach EJ is not coaching he enjoys playing Xbox, volunteering at Deaf events, and being active by hiking, backpacking, and lifting weights.

Katie Houk

Katie Houk

Intern/Coach

Coach Katie grew up in Pleasant Hill, Ohio. She began playing soccer when she was 4 years old and started playing club at the age of 12. She played for Butler United and the varsity team at Newton High School. She is currently attending Wright State University, getting her Bachelor’s in Sports Science. She has previously coached for Butler United and will be coaching for FC Tippecanoe this Spring. Coach Katie has experience with children through coaching, babysitting, and being 1 of 5 kids in her family. When she is not coaching soccer she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running, and playing with dogs.

Chelsey Waltjen

Chelsey Waltjen

Coach

Coach Chelsey grew up in Hilo, Hawaii. She coached for children for 2 years while she was living in Hawaii. She started playing soccer in elementary school and then joined a club team and participated in the Olympic Development Program. She continued her soccer career at Hanover College. Coach Chelsey has experience with children through babysitting, working at Rainbow Childcare, and being 1 of 8 kids in her family. When she is not coaching soccer, she enjoys running and spending time with her friends and family.

Lee Warren

Lee Warren

Coach

Coach Lee grew up in Dayton, Ohio. He began playing soccer at 11 years old. He played with the Warrior Soccer Club for 7 years and on the varsity team at Stivers High School for 4 years. He is currently attending Sinclair Community College. He continues to play soccer with the Dayton Dynamos Semi-Pro team. Coach Lee went back to coach at Stivers High School as the assistant varsity coach for 4 years and is now the head coach. When he is not coaching or playing soccer, he enjoys playing basketball, singing, and a variety of art.
