Bruce radiates energy and passion for the game of soccer and in his service to others. He learned the game of soccer starting with Rockford, IL AYSO. He trained under the Rockford United Soccer Club and Rockford Raptors Soccer Club. Bruce went on to play at Rockford College and Wheaton College, IL. He currently continues playing in over 30’s leagues. During and after college, he officiated and coached soccer from ages 2-22 years at camps, schools, clubs, and college levels. After graduating from Wheaton College, IL., he completed a Masters of Social Work degree at Aurora University, IL. and studied military science. He volunteers his time working with children at City First Church and enjoys outdoor physical activities with his wife and three kids. Bruce continues serving as an officer in the United States Army Reserves since 2007. He loves serving, helping, and leading others, especially his family and anything relating to soccer.
Nikki has a passion for soccer that started at a very young age. She has played on elite club teams starting at the age of 4. Nikki went on to play in two state tournaments at Carl Sandburg High School and continued playing in college. She studied at Benedictine University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science. She played on her college team all four years where she earned athletic honors such as captain of her team, First team all NAAC, and female athlete of the year. Nikki has run children’s camps at her local junior high and college. She continues to play in women’s leagues where she has won top goal scorer for consecutive years. Soccer has been the single most important thing to Nikki alongside her family and dog. She loves helping people and teaching children the game she grew up to love.
