Originally from Baytown, Texas, Coach Mckhenzie grew her love for the game with the Challenge Soccer Club before taking her skills and studies to the University of Houston. While there, she fostered her love for soccer, both as a midfielder for the UH Women’s Soccer team, and as a volunteer coach for local youth clubs. Shortly after college, Coach Mckhenzie joined Soccer Shots Houston as a coach and Program Director, combining her passion for working with children and her love of the game. Coach Mckhenzie has since relocated to the DFW area, and is excited to continue to bring the same culture and passion to the All-Stars in Dallas and surrounding areas! In her spare time, Coach Mckhenzie enjoys spending time with her husband, discovering the city’s best cheeseburgers, and finding new fishing spots!
Coach Aron grew up in Laredo, TX, with his three siblings and their pup, Harley! His love for soccer started early on in his life, and his 18+ year career eventually landed him a spot on the semi-professional team, The Laredo Heat! Coach Aron attended University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology Exercise Science, and is passionate about providing both soccer and strength and conditioning instruction to the youth in the community. Coach Aron is a fluent Spanish speaker, and can be usually be found fishing, playing soccer or whipping it up in the kitchen!
All the way from Long Beach, California, Coach Daria is still relatively new to the DFW area and is excited about helping impact the All-Stars in the area! Her personal soccer career started at the age of seven and her dedication and hard work eventually earned her a spot on the San Jose State women’s soccer team. She later transferred to the University of North Texas and earned her B.S. in Kinesiology! In her free time, she can be found going out with her friends and family to try new restaurants around DFW or watching and supporting just about any California sports teams!
Coach Morgan grew up just outside of Dallas in Frisco, TX, and began her soccer career at the age of three. She grew her love for the game with the Texans ECNL team ultimately landing a spot on the McNeese State Women’s soccer team where she also received her Masters in Exercise Physiology. Outside of soccer island you can find Coach Morgan spending time with friends, crafting, and trying to find the best coffee in the Dallas area!
Coach Zach is from Little Rock, Arkansas but now calls Texas home. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Zach finds joy in serving kiddos and families in the DFW area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and trout fishing!
Born and raised in the Ft. Worth area, Coach Kaleb is passionate about providing a beloved growth experience to every child through sports! After coaching his younger brother’s soccer team, Coach K realized how much he enjoyed interacting with the kiddos and eventually found himself dedicating his time to the All-Stars of Soccer Shots DFW! When he’s not on the field, you can find him playing cards with his family and friends, working out and staying active, or working on his moves at the MMA gym!
Originally from Arlington, Coach Carlos is the youngest of 3 siblings. He joins Soccer Shots DFW in hopes to be able to teach younger children the sport he grew up loving. His favorite professional soccer team is FC Barcelona and he hopes to one day be able to visit Spain and Italy! Outside of soccer island, he enjoys hiking and traveling. Coach Carlos can also speak Spanish fluently, play the guitar and enjoys gardening.
Originally from Norway, Michigan, Coach Dane graduated from Northern Michigan University with his Bachelors of Science and spent time on the men’s soccer roster before finding his way to the Dallas area. He has coached for various club soccer programs back home in Michigan, and is now excited to be a part of preparing the next generation of future soccer players in DFW! Coach Dane’s favorite team to cheer on is Manchester United, and he hopes to one day to travel to England to cheer them on in person. Ask Coach Dane’s about his super secret hidden talent – playing the piano!
Coach Adama brings so much joy to her All-Stars each week! Originally from Sachse, she is currently attending the University of North Texas and pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. She has played competitive soccer for the majority of her life, and believes that Soccer Shots is the perfect mix of positively impacting children and teaching them the fundamentals of the game. Coach Adama has three brothers, and a “cute” grandma that she enjoys hanging out with when not on Soccer Island! She can also frequently be found reading, baking or eating at her favorite spot, Grand Lux Cafe.
Coach Alberto grew up just north of Dallas in Plano, TX, as the middle child with his two siblings! He began playing soccer at the age of two, and has been involved in the game ever since with local club teams. Eventually, his skill and hard work earned him the Captain position on his college team at Southwest Baptist University where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science. Now that he’s returned to the Dallas area, Coach Alberto is excited to continue to grow the sport and help instill life skills through the game of soccer! Coach Alberto is also fluent in Spanish, and enjoys cheering on his favorite team (FC Barcelona) or painting in his spare time.
A Chicago native, Coach Jordan grew up the youngest of six siblings and started playing soccer at the age of four and played for over 15-years, eventually serving as the Captain on his high-school team. He is currently a student at Collin College where he’s working towards a career in the fitness field, and hopes to even one day dive deeper into the field of prosthetics! Coach Jordan is proud to play a part of each of his All-Star’s first journey into soccer, and he hopes to instill a passion in each of them each season! Ask him about his new recent hobby, wood working, or his first bucket list item…bungee jumping!
Joining Soccer Shots from Longview, Texas, Coach Yazmin’s soccer career started at the age of 5 years old and her love for the game took her to play 4 years in college at Lyon College. There, she received her bachelors degree in Psychology and is now currently going to grad school at UNT at Dallas to get her master’s degree in counseling! Coach Yazmin enjoys running in her free time and her favorite snack to eat is popcorn! She also hopes to one day be able mark traveling to France off her bucket list!
Coach Chris was born in Irving, Texas and joined Soccer Shots DFW to contribute and make a difference in the youth community. Coach Chris has previously coached some youth sports: some including football, baseball, and of course soccer! He assisted with his kids school sports and other activities as well. Coach Chris also had a prior career in law enforcement and health care security management. He has a dog named Rory and a cat named Harley and one day he hopes to be able to continue to travel around the world. His hidden talent: art & drawing!
Coach Cason is originally from Prosper, Texas and now currently resides in Melissa with his wife and two daughters. He has experience playing soccer for about 8 years and has multiple years of youth coaching experience with soccer, lacrosse, and football. His passion for guiding the youth into becoming confident, young players is why he joins Soccer Shots DFW. He enjoys being able to see the growth and development of the kiddos he coaches and how much they can change in a season. Coach Cason graduated from UT Dallas with a degree in Information Systems and Technology and one day also hopes to get his real estate license. His hidden talent? Being able to say the alphabet backwards!
Coach Michelle join us originally from Mexico where she hopes to share part of her culture with the next generation of All-Stars in the DFW area. Coach Michelle graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and plans to continue to grow her fitness journey in hopes of becoming a personal trainer. Some of her hobbies when she’s not coaching include gardening and baking. One thing on her bucket list? Skydiving!
Coach John is from Garland, Texas and currently attends Dallas College where he plans to work in the medical field. He joins Soccer Shots DFW in hopes of inspiring the next generation on and off the field. Some of Coach John’s interests outside of Soccer Island are working out, playing basketball, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. One thing on his bucket list is to get the opportunity to sky dive!
Originally from Manila, Philippines Coach Josh now resides in Euless, Texas. He joins Soccer Shots DFW because he wants to stay involved in the sport of soccer and teach the next generation of players. Coach Josh attended an international Academy in England where he started playing soccer at the age of 8. He graduated from York College with a Bachelors in Sport and Exercise Science and hopes to continue working in the sports industry. He also hopes to be able to also travel to every continent! Ask Coach Josh about his secret talent: playing the violin!
Coach Connor joins Soccer Shots DFW to create a positive lasting impact on the children he coaches. He currently attends the University of Texas at Arlington and is pursuing a degree in Psychology and Organizational Science which he hopes to use to work in mental health care. Coach Connor enjoys playing video games, going to the gym and playing pick up soccer outside of Soccer Island. He one day hopes to get the opportunity to go to London!
Coach Anthony who also goes by Coach AJ, joins Soccer Shots DFW to bring a good introduction of the sport to the kids that he coaches. He is originally from Dallas and attended Southwestern College where he received his Bachelor of Arts and hopes to become a coach at a high level. Coach Anthony has played soccer competitively his whole life and still plays! When he’s not coaching soccer, he also makes music and is beginning to create short films as well. His favorite soccer team is Manchester United and one day hopes to travel to Europe to watch a professional soccer game.
Coach Asia is originally from Connecticut and now currently resides in Dallas, TX. She joins Soccer Shots DFW to be a part of the kid’s development and soccer skills as she has played soccer for 18 years and wants to share her passion with the younger kiddos. Outside of Soccer Island, she enjoys drawing and painting and playing with her 2 dogs. Bucket list: Go to Paris!
Originally from Mississippi, Coach Tosha joins Soccer Shots DFW because she wants to share her love and passion for the game. She is currently working on a Sports Management degree at Liberty University and has 15 years experience of coaching elementary PE in Frisco. She has played soccer and even ran her own after school program where she taught her own kids how to play soccer. Her favorite soccer team is FC Dallas and outside of soccer some of her hobbies include reading, painting, and working out. One thing on her bucket list? Tour the White House!
