Mel graduated from Mid-America University with a BS in psychology where she played soccer and collected many conference, regional and national accolades. She has many years of experience coaching competitive and academy soccer and holds several national coaching licenses. Mel loves that Soccer Shots curriculum is aligned with early childhood guidelines and the impact the Soccer Shots coaching staff is able to make in the community!

Blake first began playing soccer at the age of seven in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. After graduating high school she went on to study psychology at Oakland Community College and Oklahoma State- OKC. She has many years of experience working in youth programs and is passionate about investing in her community. Her favorite part of working for Soccer Shots is getting to see the positive impact the coaches and the curriculum have on children and their families.

Coach Brooke has been playing soccer since she was the age of four in Oklahoma and in Wisconsin. She is currently a student studying criminal justice at the University of Central Oklahoma. Brooke loves coaching because she’s able to make children smile just as much as she did as a kid playing soccer.

Hannah is a graduate student at the University of Central Oklahoma and has been playing soccer since the age of four. She played soccer at Southwestern Oklahoma State University while obtaining her B.S. degree in Psychology and Child Development. Her soccer coaching experience includes personal training and working at various soccer camps. Hannah has a heart for working with children and loves to share her passion for soccer!

Melinda is a mother of three amazing girls who have kept her young at heart. She obtained her soccer coaching license in 1999 and continued to enhance her knowledge and experiences in soccer by coaching for various organizations. In addition to coaching, Melinda obtained her soccer referee license in 2015 and is now working toward her second license upgrade. Melinda is passionate about molding productive persons of society and takes great pride in impacting young lives.

Raven is a single mom to an amazing daughter. She has played soccer for over twenty years and loves coaching. “I never realized how big of an impact I can be on children’s lives until I started coaching for Soccer Shots. One of my favorite things about working with the kids is watching them get better each week and seeing their little personalities pop out as they get more comfortable.”

Coach MaKayla joins Soccer Shots from Houston, TX where she attended Texas Southern University. At TSU she played soccer while earning a Bachelors in Health Studies and a Masters in Kinesiology. MaKayla was the team captain, earned many awards in the SWAC conference, and coached as the graduate assistant. She has coached many soccer camps and enjoys being able to give back and impact the youth through soccer.

Chris is currently a student at the University of Central Oklahoma where he is pursuing a B.S in Kinesiology. He played soccer throughout school until leaving for college. Through soccer and other sports, Chris developed a passion for coaching. This passion has led him to Soccer Shots. The curriculum offered with Soccer Shots helps develop engaged, responsible, and confident young athletes. He believes this in return will impact the community for the better.
