Nate has over 20 years of experience playing soccer and working with kids. He holds his Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Studies from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Nate has extensive experience running various children’s programs, previously holding positions with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego and The County of San Diego Parks and Rec Department. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, it is clear that Nate has become a devoted advocate of early childhood development and education through sports programs.
Coach Hilario was born and raised right here in Las Vegas! Over the past two years working for Soccer Shots, he has taught hundreds of children to love the game of soccer. Coach Hilario has been playing soccer for over 10 years and his favorite position on the field is midfield. Coach Hilario is passionate about working at Soccer Shots because of the joy that children bring to each class! The magic is in the moment they master a skill, throw their hands up in the air, and yell, “I did it, Coach!” Coach Hilario is passionate about helping each Soccer Shots team member find their drive and bringing challenge to help them achieve their goals.
Coach Alicia holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of Southern Nevada. She has been working with children for over 6 years and has recently joined Soccer Shots as a Lead Coach. Prior to Soccer Shots, Alicia was the head coach for an all boys soccer team. She loves being able to expose children to the sport of soccer. Coach Alicia believes that soccer is a great team sport that helps children learn about teamwork and respect. Coach Alicia is passionate about working for Soccer Shots and impacting children. It’s important for her to be able to develop relationships with families and children to help build confidence in her new soccer friends. She believes it is very rewarding and very fun!
Coach Mallory joins us from Utah! Before moving to Las Vegas Coach Mallory worked as an Instructional Assistant for the Provo City School District. She has also interned in pre-school and elementary school settings. Coach Mallory loves working with children because she has the opportunity to watch them grow and explore the word around them. Her outgoing and kind personality it what makes her a great addition to our team! We don’t just teach kids how to play soccer, we teach them patience, discipline, sharing, balance, gross motor skills, sportsmanship, etc…. but most importantly how to have fun! She can’t wait to meet your child and have fun on the field playing soccer!
Coach Sam is originally from Illinois! Prior to working for Soccer Shots Coach Sam was a Las Vegas Metro Police Officer. In addition to working for Soccer Shots, Coach Same also works as a Family Resources Specialist where she provides families with the tools necessary to prevent local youth from entering the juvenile justice system. Coach Sam is dedicated to our community and wants to spread her love for soccer at the same time! Not only has Coach Sam played soccer most of her life, she has also been an active coach for club teams in the past. She is so excited to meet your little ones and teach them!
