My name is Larry Jorash. I am currently enrolled at Nichols College for a pursuit in Child Psychology. I have been working with children for the better part of the last decade and have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old. Personal pursuits in soccer began for me in the off season of ice hockey for conditioning purposes, and the game has always been a part of my life. I moved to Orlando in August of 2015 and shortly after found Soccer Shots completely by accident while looking for a place to play the game. After stumbling across this franchise I soon fell in love with the concept and haven’t looked back since. I love my job and the passion it brings not only to me, but from my students as well. Soccer is sometimes known as the beautiful game and my efforts to teach the sport reflect that.
I’ve played soccer competitively since I was 8 years old. I played for the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club, where we were ranked number one in the state of Florida. I also won a State Championship with my soccer team at Fleming Island High School. Since then I have moved to Orlando where I currently attend Valencia College and am working towards my Associate Degree in business. I’ve been with soccer shot’s for a little bit over two years now. Passing on my love and knowledge of soccer to kids is something I take a lot of pride in.
My name is Tristan Gomez. My family resides from Argentina and soccer is huge over there. I have worked with children for close to 3 years now. I started working in the field of child development at the Winter Park YMCA for 2 years as a part time soccer ref, soccer coach and daycare member. I currently hold my Associates degree in Business Management from Seminole State College and I plan on pursing my bachelors in Sports and Exercise Science at UCF. I am also a certified coach having completed my F license course from the USSF (United States Soccer Federation) and I plan on receiving my E license in August. Soccer means the world to me personally and being able to educate youth on soccer and teaching them how to play is something that I enjoy doing every time I run my classes. I simply love what I do!
Hello my name is Devin and I am originally from NJ. Growing up I played a variety of sports, but soccer has always been passion. I have been playing for over 20 years both amateur and semi professional both here in the USA as well as Germany. I have been coaching for over 10 years with players ages 3-25 with in both amateur and professional clubs. I currently hold a BA in sports and fitness with a specialization in coaching from UCF as well as a certified personal trainer. Soccer for me is a passion, it’s a way of life. Soccer has giving me so much thought out my life and it feels wonderful to pass the beautiful game along to younger generations. My ultimate goal for all my players is to foster a love for soccer and to make it a fun and enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to see you on the field.
Soccer is my passion. I have played since I was 5, teams I have played for include UW-Oshkosh, FMI, I was a part of the USA player pool from 1995-1999, and was fortunate enough to play professionally for the Milwaukee Wave ( although that lasted for only two weeks due to injuries). I have been fortunate to be coached by such great soccer icons as Thomas Rongen, Hayden Knight, Herbie Dundun, Tony Meola, Ray Hudson, and Victor Nogueira. Currently I am a junior at UCF getting my degree in sports science and am very excited to continue my coaching career here with Soccer Shots. I have been coaching for 6 years now, mostly at the high school level but have ran soccer camps and soccer academy’s for ages 3-19 since my high school days. I love this game, I love teaching this game, and I love showing others the passion, fun, and opportunities this game has to offer. Soccer Shots is perfect for getting kids into the game to see all the wonderful things this game can give and am very excited to be apart of it.
