Coach Brendan is from Allentown, New Jersey and wanted to begin coaching at Soccer Shots because they wanted a job that would keep them close to the game! Outside of work they love to play soccer and go to the movies.
Coach Josh is from England and wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because they grew up playing soccer and really wanted to get into child care and child development. Outside of work Coach Josh likes to drive, play soccer, ride their motorcycle, watch the English Premier League, and spend time with their family.
Coach Jay is from Gainesville, Florida and wanted to begin coaching at Soccer Shots because they wanted to be able to positively influence kids in the same way soccer coaches did for them when they were young. Outside of work Coach Jay loves to take walks with their dog through their neighborhood with their friends and their dogs friends!
Coach Ash is from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico and wanted to begin working for Soccer Shots because it aligned with their passion of working with children which came from their experience working at different camps in Puerto Rico and Wisconsin. From being a camper, to becoming a counselor, all the way to program coordinator, they loved the opportunity of working with children to help them grow. Outside of work Coach Ash likes gaming, snowboarding, spending time with their dog, Leo, and most recently started climbing!
Coach Allie is from Sacramento, California and wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because they wanted to get back into playing soccer in a fun and inclusive environment all while helping others find the fun in the sport! Outside of work Coach Allie likes to play video games, hang out with friends, and work on getting better at new potential hobbies! Coach Allies is currently learning how to detail cars and trying to get into reading again!
Coach Braydon is from Beaverton, Oregon and had a stint in Eugene for school, but the beautiful sunny weather in Portland just kept them coming back. Coach Braydon wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because the greatest mentor at any stage in their life was often a coach. They want to return that level of compassion, guidance and attention to the next generation so that the cycle of guidance may continue. They specifically like coaching for Soccer Shots because they feel an encouragement to be themself while coaching, which in turn allows them to encourage kiddos to be themselves on and off Soccer Island! Outside of work Coach Braydon likes to stay busy through writing, whether personal or for publication, and likes to get out with their friends to play soccer. They are also trying to pick up guitar, which they’ve found the picking up the guitar part is easy, but no one told them the learning how to play it part is actually difficult.
Coach Erin is from Del Mar, California and wanted to begin working at Soccer Shots because they wanted to work for a sports company that has a fun and diverse staff. Outside of work, Coach Erin likes to watch sports, cool, and spend time with friends!
Coach Amy is from Portland, Oregon and wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because they wanted to continue teaching preschool/school aged children outside of a classroom setting. As our Coaching Coordinator, they enjoy the balance of administrative work and fun! Outside of work, Coach Amy likes to cook, binge watch shows, and enjoys anything outside with their dog, Emerald!
Coach Joel is from Columbus, Ohio and started Soccer Shots because he wanted to make a positive impact on young lives during a critical window in their development. He also wanted a job that would keep him active and get him outdoors. It’s grown and delivered far beyond his expectations! Outside of work, Joel loves spending time with his children, hiking, cooking, and eating!
Coach Michael is originally from Southern California, but has lived all across the U.S. and wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because they wanted to share their love of soccer. They also love working with kids from different backgrounds and helping them learn new skills while having fun with the game. They believe Soccer Shots is an awesome culture that’s engaging for both kids and coaches. Outside of work, Coach Michael loves to read, write, dive into new art projects, and spend time in nature. They are also a diehard supporter of the Portland Thorns.
Coach Megan is from Sacramento, California and wanted to begin coaching with Soccer Shots because they wanted to get back into soccer and continue to work with kids. Becoming a coach was the perfect combination for them! Outside of work Coach Megan likes indoor climbing and spending time with their dog, Wolfgang!
Coach Mitchell is from Portland, Oregon and wanted to begin working at Soccer Shots because he wanted to help give back to the soccer community that had helped shape the person he is today. Outside of work, Coach Mitchell loves cooking, spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing soccer, and hanging out with his friends.
CaSaundra is from Oregon and wanted to begin working at Soccer Shots because they love to help make a child’s first sport experience fun and engaging. Outside of work, CaSaundra enjoys spending time with their family, traveling and disc golf!
