COACHING COORDINATOR / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Coach Kayla is a seven year AYSO All Stars soccer champion from California. She obtained her Master’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University and her undergrad from UC Berkeley. She brings 10+ years of experience in programming for youth recreation. She is grateful for the impact she is able to make through coaching and to be a part of Soccer Shots.
Coach Matt was born in Derby, England and moved over to Florida at 9 years old, he played Club soccer in Lady Lake and St.Petersburg, went to Admiral Farragut Academy High School played all 4 years of high school soccer. He got into coaching at 23 years and has several coaching certificates and are as follows: USSF (US Soccer Federation) D license; TOPsoccer certificate; IOC (International Olympic Committee) certified coach. He is experienced in 5 years of developmental/competitive/academy coaching at Clermont FC. He also attends Real Life Church every weekend. He enjoys coaching and teaching children the many benefits this sport has to offer and hopes to make a lasting impact in the community.
Coach Sam was born in London, England and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has participated in soccer his whole life and moved to Florida on a soccer scholarship to compete at the collegiate level for Webber international university receiving many individual awards including first team all conference and top goalscorer. He also received a bachelors in sport management. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the soccer world and hopes to pass it on to the youth all over the community.
Coach Eddie is an FIU graduate with a degree in sports recreation and management. He grew up in Honduras and began playing soccer at the age of 5. He played competitive soccer since the age of 7 all throughout high school and also played two years of division 2 college football. He has a passion for soccer and loves having the opportunity to instill the same passion in his players through coaching. He is hoping to gain even more experience here at Soccer Shots and become a better coach, mentor, and professional.
Coach Luis is originally from New York, and now calls Orlando his home. His soccer experience includes playing for Brentwood high school and the Central Florida Soccer League. Coach Luis has trained kids 4-16 for different youth programs in Florida! Coach Luis first fell in love with soccer when he was 7 years old, and he is most looking forward to spreading his love for soccer and having a positive impact on kids.
Coach Kristin played youth soccer, both indoor and outdoor through elementary and middle school in New England. After moving to Florida and graduating from Cypress Creek High School in 2005, she went on to skate for various roller derby teams up and down the east coast. During her 6 years in the sport, 4 were spent as the Head of Training.
Coach Kristin currently resides in Clermont with her two young sons.
Coach Grace moved to Saint Cloud, FL in August 1998 from Barbers Point, HI and has lived here ever since. She played Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball all throughout grade school where she was Captain of her Volleyball team.
She fell in love with Soccer Shots when she brought her two girls to a Fun Day. She loved the positivity, passion that the coaches had and character development that the program offered that she wanted to be a part of the team! She loves teaching children of all ages about sports and building their confidence through determination.
