Senior Staff Coach
Coach Annalise was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. She has been playing soccer since she was 3 and coaching since she was a freshman in high school. She graduated from Urbana University May 2017 with a degree in Sports Management, playing college soccer all 4 years. Coach Annalise had the opportunity to attend the Women’s World Cup in Canada 2015, which was one of her most memorable experiences. She loves spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, playing soccer, skiing, hiking, and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Coach Caine is our resident musician. He plays multiple instruments – guitar, drums and the trumpet to name a few, and was also a college football kicker. Caine loves taking trips to the mountains, Mexican and Italian food and his dog, Bella. Oh, and he also loves coaching your children!
Coach Chris C.
Coach Chris has been playing soccer almost as long as he’s been walking! He has competed in soccer tournaments all over the world, and has managed to score goals in four different countries. Coach Chris enjoys sharing his passion for soccer with our Soccer Friends. When he’s not teaching, Coach Chris has his nose buried in a calculus book, probably trying to determine the rate of acceleration needed to score a goal from midfield.
Coach Cullen is originally from Buffalo, NY and has been playing soccer all of his life. He has been coaching soccer since the age of 14, both casually and competitively. For the rare occasions that Coach Cullen is away from Soccer Island, you can find him creating digital illustrations and designs!
Coach Darrius is from Greenville, NC. Coach Darrius began playing soccer when he got to high school, and describes it as “the best decision I made in a long time”. He made amazing memories playing soccer, and also participated in track where he made conference and regionals. Coach Darrius graduated college with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. When he isn’t playing or coaching sports he is playing video games, working out or watching tv.

Coach Domenic was raised in Cary, and played soccer for Cardinal Gibbons High School, CASL, and our North Carolina ODP teams. He graduated from the College of Charleston May 2017 with a degree in Business and a Concentration in Marketing. Coach Domenic studied abroad in Europe and worked with Nottingham Forest Football Club while traveling to many different countries! In his free time, he loves to watch soccer matches, and Chelsea is his favorite soccer Club!
Coach Erin grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She started playing soccer at age 6 and continued to do so for several years. She recently graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She found her passion for working with kids while working with Project Mentor at the University. She loves to volunteer at the animal shelter, try new restaurants, and to spend time with family and friends.
Coach Jennifer was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She’s been playing soccer ever since she was in elementary school with her classmates. She’s been teaching kids since she was 13 as an assistant in Church and now she is one of the people in charge of organizing everything. She graduated City of Medicine Academy in 2019 and is currently attending Durham Tech.

Coach Kyle was born and raised in Apex, North Carolina. He started playing soccer at the age of 5 and never stopped. He attended Panther Creek High School and played soccer in college at the University of Mount Olive. When he’s not involved with soccer Kyle enjoys other sports like hockey, basketball, and football or playing with one of his three dogs.

Coach Matthew was born and raised in Troutman, NC. He started playing soccer at the age of 5 and played intramural soccer at NCSU. Coach Matthew graduated from NC State (The Best College) with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Coaching Education. In his spare time, he can be found hanging out with friends or spending time outdoors with his dog Johnny Cash.
Coaching Coordinator - Durham
Coach Michael was born in Brazil, but raised in Miami, FL. He played college football as a place kicker and also has some professional soccer and football experience. Coach Michael has two children which has guided him to truly enjoy working with children to help them not only grow in soccer, but grow in life. Soccer is so much more than a sport to Coach Michael, Soccer is life!
Coach Nick is a current student at NC State working on a Sports Management degree! He is from Cary,NC and graduated from Panther Creek HS. Coach Nick played TFC Classic soccer for 8 years while growing up. Coach Nick is a former YMCA counselor of 5 years and is looking forward to continuing his career of coaching kids!
Coach Rahul grew up in Cary, NC but was born in Toronto, Canada. He moved to London, UK until he was 4 and then moved to Cary. Coach Rahul played as a goalkeeper for Green Hope and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. In his spare time he enjoys playing my saxophone, playing soccer and playing video games. Coach Rahul has also been coaching club soccer for 5 years and truly loves the sport.
Coach Trevor loves fitness. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, as well as this, he is a certified Personal Trainer, and holds certificates in CPR and a Concussion Course. When Coach Trevor was growing up he played basketball, football and soccer. He loves to refuel by drinking a Gatorade and any snack he can add peanut butter to.
Coach Ty was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has played soccer since the age of 4. He attended Knightdale High School and went on to study at North Carolina State University. Coach Ty has returned to Soccer Shots after traveling and living for a year in Australia and is very excited to be back!
Coach Yalmar has been playing soccer his whole life. He grew up playing in his home country of Costa Rica. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors at the beach, or surfing, or playing soccer with his wife. A fun fact about Coach Yalmar is that he is fluent in English and Spanish. He and his wife run a non profit in Costa Rica and enjoy helping kids of all ages learn to play sports.
