Coach Andrew

Coach Andrew

Coach Andrew is the proud father of two boys, Arthur and Henry, ages 4 and 2 respectively. Coach Andrew has been a life long soccer and sports enthusiast. He began playing soccer at five years old in AYSO and later got involved in both club and school team soccer. As an adult Coach Andrew was a member of former president Bush’s marine security detail and stayed very active in community sports. Coach Andrew really enjoys teaching and engaging children in physical and imaginative play and he is an active volunteer at his children’s preschool. Coach Andrew also teaches kid’s guitar lessons and early childhood music education classes.

Coach Annalise

Trainer

Coach Annalise was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. She has been playing soccer since she was 3 and coaching since she was a freshman in high school. She graduated from Urbana University May 2017 with a degree in Sports Management, playing college soccer all 4 years. Coach Annalise had the opportunity to attend the Women’s World Cup in Canada 2015, which was one of her most memorable experiences. She loves spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, playing soccer, skiing, hiking, and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coach Caine

Coach Caine

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Coach Caine is our resident musician. He plays multiple instruments – guitar, drums and the trumpet to name a few, and was also a college football kicker. Caine loves taking trips to the mountains, Mexican and Italian food and his dog, Bella. Oh, and he also loves coaching your children!

Executive Director

Coach Chris has been playing soccer almost as long as he’s been walking! He has competed in soccer tournaments all over the world, and has managed to score goals in four different countries. Coach Chris enjoys sharing his passion for soccer with our Soccer Friends. When he’s not teaching, Coach Chris has his nose buried in a calculus book, probably trying to determine the rate of acceleration needed to score a goal from midfield.

Coach Corey

Coach Corey

Coach Corey was born and raised locally in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Although he has played soccer at various levels for most of his life, he enjoys playing many other sports, in particular basketball.  Coach Corey recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in American History.  When not on Soccer Island, he can be found taking trips, playing various sports, or even just listening to music with friends.

Coach DaJae

Coach DaJae

Coach DaJae was born and raised in Delaware. She recently graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology. Coach DaJae’s ultimate goal in life is to start up her own business working with children! Coach DaJae loves to be goofy, bake, dance and coach her friends on Soccer Island! In her free time, Coach DaJae can be found playing basketball and volleyball with her new friends here in North Carolina!

Coach Domenic

Coach Domenic

Coach Domenic was raised in Cary, and played soccer for Cardinal Gibbons High School, CASL, and our North Carolina ODP teams.  He graduated from the College of Charleston May 2017 with a degree in Business and a Concentration in Marketing. Coach Domenic studied abroad in Europe and worked with Nottingham Forest Football Club while traveling to many different countries!  In his free time, he loves to watch soccer matches, and Chelsea is his favorite soccer Club!

Coach Erin

Coach Erin

Coach Erin grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She started playing soccer at age 6 and continued to do so for several years. She recently graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She found her passion for working with kids while working with Project Mentor at the University. She loves to volunteer at the animal shelter, try new restaurants, and to spend time with family and friends.

Coach Hattie

Coach Hattie was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and moved to Raleigh to study Sport Management at NC State. She played soccer growing up and enjoyed watching the Premier League on TV. Coach Hattie has been lucky enough to attend a few Premier League games in England even though she does support Ipswich who are a couple leagues below. Coach Hattie has a passion for all sports and volunteers her time at NC State with the Athletics Marketing Department where she can be found on the field or court at most sporting events!

James has played soccer all of his life and has never been able to get enough. He has played all kinds of soccer from indoor to beach soccer. James comes from the West Coast and loves the outdoors as well as his new home in North Carolina. When he isn’t in the office he can be found wandering around the state, finding new and exciting things to love about his new home.

Coach Jocelyn

Coach Jocelyn

Coach Jocelyn was born in Charleston, SC where her dad was stationed in the Navy. She moved around a lot with her family through the Navy and soccer was one of the things that helped her adjust to each new location. She was able to experience some English football during her time oversees, playing soccer with the boy’s youth teams. She was a teacher for five years, and coached volleyball, basketball, and softball for 3 of those years. She loves her dog, Copper, and being outside whenever possible

Coach Katie

Coach Katie

Coach Katie was born in Cary, NC and lived there her entire childhood. She began playing soccer at the age of 4 and continued to play through high school and then intramurals in college. She played a wide array of sports in high school including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and cross country. Katie recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and is an avid basketball fan. When she’s not coaching you’ll find her watching Carolina games or playing with dogs!

Coach Kayla

Coach Kayla is currently a student at UNC- Chapel Hill pursuing her Masters in Public Health with Registered Dietician Training. She started playing soccer when she was 3 years old and has been playing ever since. She grew up in Florida and just moved to Carrboro, N.C. for school. She is also a co-founder of a nonprofit organization that offers free heart health education and screenings to the homeless population. Her passion for community health led her to Soccer Shots. If she’s not coaching or studying, she loves to go on hikes, try out new restaurants, and watch The Office.

Coach Keith

Coach Keith holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, and played soccer for Campbell University.  He is married to Lisa, and has three children, a grandson and a brand new granddaughter.  Just ask him to see pictures!  Having come from a background of teaching and pastoral ministry, Coach Keith loves meeting new people and helping them become the best they can be!

Coach Kyle was born and raised in Apex, North Carolina.  He started playing soccer at the age of 5 and never stopped. He attended Panther Creek High School and played soccer in college at the University of Mount Olive. When he’s not involved with soccer Kyle enjoys other sports like hockey, basketball, and football or playing with one of his three dogs.

Coach Lydia is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill and is studying Economics and Management with a minor in Social and Economic Justice. She is from Greensboro, NC where she grew up participating in many sports like gymnastics, dance, swimming, and soccer. Coach Lydia loves going to concerts, working out, and hanging out with friends in her free time.

Coach Matthew was born and raised in Troutman, NC. He started playing soccer at the age of 5 and played intramural soccer at NCSU. Coach Matthew graduated from NC State (The Best College) with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Coaching Education. In his spare time, he can be found hanging out with friends or spending time outdoors with his dog Johnny Cash. 

Coach Melissa

Coach Melissa was raised in Charlotte, NC and grew up playing soccer. She has always loved the sport and played it recreationally through college at UNC Chapel Hill. Coach Melissa lived abroad in Kenya for a couple years and unintentionally discovered her love for coaching soccer there! Coach Melissa is also a personal trainer; and in her free time, she enjoys readingworking out, playing team sports, and going on adventures with friends.

Coach Millie

Coach Millie is from St. Louis, Missouri and has been playing soccer from a very young age! She received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Memphis in 2018 before moving to Raleigh, NC. Coach Millie has a passion for recreation and also works as a Lifeguard Instructor and Swim Instructor. She loves spending time with kids and can always learn something new from them! When she is not coaching you can find Coach Millie teaching swim lessons, hiking, camping in the mountains, or hanging out with her dog, Thunder! 

Coach Nick

Coach Nick is a current student at NC State working on a Sports Management degree! He is from Cary,NC and graduated from Panther Creek HS. Coach Nick played TFC Classic soccer for 8 years while growing up. Coach Nick is a former YMCA counselor of 5 years and is looking forward to continuing his career of coaching kids!

Coach Orlando grew up in Florida. He began playing when he was 12 and has been playing ever since. He began sharing his passion for soccer when he started coaching for the Orlando City youth development program. The reason he is most excited about living in North Carolina is that he will get to learn how to sled! So share any pointers you have with him.
