Meet The Coaches

We are proud to have the best coaches in youth soccer.

Coach Ashlynne

Coach Ashlynne

Coach Ashlynne was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she began playing soccer at age 2 and competitive soccer on a traveling team at age 7. She continued competitive soccer until her sophomore year of high school, and she played on her high school varsity team for four years, becoming a team captain during her senior year. Ashlynne also played for Wilmington College, a small division three college in Ohio, for one year before transferring to Seattle Pacific University. A lower back injury from high school recurred causing her to end her competitive soccer career. She is currently pursuing her B.S. in Exercise Science at SPU, and she plans to attend graduate school for physical therapy after completing her undergraduate degree. She has experience working with kids as a babysitter, a nanny, and a soccer camp counselor. Ashlynne enjoys being part of the Soccer Shots team because it combines her passion for soccer and kids.

Coach Tricia

Coach Tricia

Born and raised in Seattle Washington, Coach Tricia grew up with a passion for soccer. She has played soccer for 12 years, and three of those years she played in high school along with playing on a club team. Coach Tricia has had experience working with kids as an assistant swim teacher. She will be attending Central Washington University this upcoming Fall, planning to major in Law and Justice. A fun fact about Coach Tricia is that she loves extreme sports, having gone zip-lining, white water rafting, snowboarding, and knee-boarding. She hopes to go skydiving and surfing this year, and hopefully bungee jumping, wing-suit flying and paragliding soon! Tricia enjoys working with Soccer Shots because she’s able to help encourage kids to have a passion for soccer, bringing a smile to her face during every session.

Coach Mikala

Coach Mikala

Coach Mikala grew up in Kitsap County, WA and started playing soccer when she was around 5 years old. She went on to play in Central Kitsap’s soccer club until her junior year of high school where she then made her high school’s varsity team. After high school, Mikala attended Washington State University and earned a degree in Criminal Justice. While at Washington State, she quickly learned that she missed playing soccer and being a part of a team which then led her to joining a few intramural soccer teams. Mikala grew up babysitting and has worked in two elementary schools since college graduation. She wants to continue working with kids, playing soccer, and become a great coach!
